Novotel Sydney City Centre recensioner

Rather new hotel near Sydneys main attractions. Friendly staff, clean room, the restaurant offers too less tables which is annoying especially at breakfast in the morning. To recommend

Staff was friendly specially the islander girl on the reception and Shafi! Stay was great

When I booked Novotel through Trip.com last month, I made a mistake and type in 25th March instead of 25th February. Once I discovered the mistake (within 60 minutes), I immediately informed Trip.com to cancel and re-book. Annoyingly, Novotel refused the correction and I have to pay for 3 days hotel charge (25-28 March 2025). Actually I was not in SAydney and did not check-in.

I had an issue with my telephone and asked for someone to check but it never happened. Otherwise, good stay at a very strategic location.

Great location easy access to the train less than 5 mins walks , walking distance to the Barangaroo CBD and restaurants.

We used the self-service check-in system which contributed to a smooth stay. The room itself was cozy but modern, and the location was ideal for a night out in Sydney. Although I've had better breakfast range elsewhere, the food was still quite good.

Excellent location and value for money. The staff were extremely helpful. We were able to check in early and access our room. The hotel also looked after our bags on the last day. The Harbour Bridge, The Rocks and the Opera house are all within walking distance. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily. Great value for easy access to the city!

The location of this hotel is excellent and you may walk to a lot of tourists’ spots from this hotel and you may save on your travel. The hotel is clean and newly renovated.

Hotel car park is so small, difficult to get in and it is not clean. Room are clean and friendly stuff

Service was disappointing, we stayed in this hotel for 3 days. The first day, we got an issue with using the safe, called reception a few times, and nobody answered the calls, we had to go down the reception and ask their staff for help. The second day, we went back to the hotel around 5pm and found that the room hadn't been cleaned, called the reception again and again. Nobody picked up the phone, eventually we met the cleaner at eh corridor and asked her to do housekeeping. Overall, the location is great, walking distance to main attractions and near light rail stations and Wynard train station. The Japanese restaurant next door services tasty ramen and bento with reasonable prices.

Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was decent. Would be great to have a bit more variety though. Overall I would highly recommend.
