The Grace Hotel recensioner

I enjoyed their comfortable bed and pillows that are way better than many pricey hotels! Generous room size, quiet air conditioning, a large shower and soft towels are some other great features! Really nothing to complain about, except the substandard pool, sauna and steam room.

Room was right next to the elevator, so constant deep hum/roar from that keeping me awake. View was right into an office with workers 20 feet away, pretty great... Cockroach in the room. Led with the bad, here's the good: location. It's downtown, short walk from all that stuff. Overall, could be worse - perhaps not worth the price?

Location is good. Close to Darling Harbour, restaurants etc. room is spacious, about 20 - 30 mins to airport.

Great location, very convinence to go anywhere by foot or tram. Very friendly staff and service. Complimentary drinks in the mini bar every day were nice. Thank you. Will stay again when come to visit next time.

Beware if you book more than 2 people into one bedroom. I booked a premium king room for 3 people, prepaid in full and arrived late at night off a long flight at the hotel to find just one bed-no sofa bed or rollaway in the room. The night manager advised it was an extra $70 per night for an extra bed for my daughter - that although my reservation for 3 people was correct, it did not include beds for 3 people and that we would all have to sleep in one bed. I disputed this with the night manager, who acknowledged how unreasonable and misleading this was but could not do more than reduce the cost of an extra bed in my room to $150 for a three night stay. Clearly unacceptable and yet I had no option but to pay up. I greatly resent this type of underhand behaviour and hope this acts as both a warning for others and a wake up call for the hotel. Shame on you.

Big room for 4 person

Really nice hotel and excellent location you can walk to nearly anywhere located in the centre of Sydney.

Good historical hotel. Yet a little bit too old fashion. Overall experience is still good.

Business and family travel. We live in Western Sydney and decided on a night out in the city with some family. My partner works in the city, so convenient hotel location to the office and all other major shops and restaurants. Basically everything at your doorstep. Our room was ready by 12pm so my daughter and I were able to check in which was handy so I could drop off our bags. First time ever for us to have a complimentary mini bar stocked with drinks we like so we took full advantage of that! That's was a lovely surprise, thank you Grace Hotel! We booked a room with 2 double beds so we could push them together so we had a big bed to share with the little one sleeping in between us. Just easier than using a cot. I'd say she's more comfortable. If we stayed longer we would've made use of the robes, the slippers and the dining. Not our first time staying at the Grace and definitely won't be our last. Thank you again for the hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel!! 👌 ⭐️👌⭐️👌

Location is good and through its ancient hotel with long history but it has very clear room. Only problem is our room was close to staff exit so it’s a bit noise in the morning.

Room and location was good. Room was clean, service was average. The door to the rooms around can be slammed and as a result it may disturb your sleep. Have to pay a deposit of $100 when you arrive.

Great location, spacious hotel room, variety for breakfast. Only thing was the water pressure and time it took for the water to heat up would be the only thing I could say was not great about the whole plce.

Overall happy with The Grace but disappointed when asking to stay an extra night was told it was booked out asked ro be put on a cancellation list they said they would call if anything becomes available no phone call so checked out found another hotel then checked on *********** and saw a room.available so not happy they didn't call to let us know a room.was available but found another hotel that we happy with
