Ibis Sydney Darling Harbour recensioner

Upon arrival was given the keys to the room. We opened the room and the room was messy as if someone had just checked out . The receptionist apologised and said it’s a mistake and gave us another room . The other room looked ok but felt like not being opened for a few days . Upon checking out next day noticed a red spot on my left side of Back which spread to middle of back . It was some bed bug or spider which caused me discomfort for the next 6-7 days to come .this hotel definitely needs to update their hygiene . I am a frequent traveller and this is the first time it happened . Hotel should double check the rooms for hygiene in bedding before giving to paying customers .

The hotel has a great location, however the amenities are very poor. The cleanliness of the room also wasn’t good till we asked for housekeeping. For the value paid, there was plenty of options with same price and much better quality hotel.

Was a good stay in handy location! Close to everything we needed. Staff were polite.

The design of the bathroom is not good. The glass door of the shower tub is easily hit the door of the washroom when I went out from the shower tub. Also the water was flowing out from underneath of the glass door while I was taking the bath. Therefore the floor was very wet after I finished taking the bath. The ceiling of my room was leaking. As a result , I needed to change to another room.

The room was extremely small, and the shower was not clean. Only one towel per person was not enough.

This is a relatively old hotel without many facilities. More similar IBIS hotels at Sydney can be chosen with similar prices next time.

The hotel is acceptable but there may have some other better choices with the similar prices.

Great, cheap hotel, right at Darling Harbour. 5 minutes from everywhere. Very helpful, friendly staff. I only stayed one night because that’s all I needed but it is always my ‘go-to’ place in Sydney.

The room was a little too small. The toilet/shower room was small n hardly any space to put my toiletries. No shampoo or conditioner. 1 soap for everything. But room was clean. Reception was not friendly, helpful n abrupt. Will look for another hotel next time we visit Sydney.

The location is good, sitting side of darling harbour. Room facilities are not so tidy, but reasonable price with Trip.com.

The service staff are very positive, with good attitude and enthusiasm

convenient for conference at the ICC.
