Sir Stamford Circular Quay recensioner

Great service & excellent location for the train, ferries, restaurants, botanical gardens, opera house & art gallery. Property has an “olde world” interior design but it’s now looking quite tired and could do with an update. Beds still comfortable & room amenities work as expected. Gym needs an update with two of the three cardio machines not operational as expected.

Very comfortable, very clean. Loved watching the lights on the Harbour bridge from our balcony. Room service prompt and the coffee was good. All staff very helpful. Thanks for a memorable stay.

We picked the hotel for the location as we were going to an event at the opera house and so glad we did. It’s a very convenient spot everything within walking distance, even the train to the airport. The service was great we were allowed to check in early and the rooms are very large. An overall great stay.

Great stay just a short walk to the Opera House for a show Never take notice of the hotel for years for having walked past Wow great heritage building The room was big Great bathroom Will stay again at the right price 😊

Dropped my bag before check in time, returned later, bag had been left in my room, good check in and friendly helpful staff

Great location for a English style traditional hotel. Loved the decor, although a little bit of touch up paint to some of the furniture would help it look a little more loved (little cost). Beautiful bathrooms and spacious rooms. I was a little surprized that we werent helped with our luggage to the rooms, as we are in our 70's. Not a big problem, just a little extra touch would have been nice. We didnt have breakfast, however the tea coffee and hot chocolate etc in the room was lovely, well thought out. We would love to visit again here, as the location was perfect, walking distance to the city and the circular quay. We went on cruise, so a very short walk to ship. We stayed 2 days prior to cruise and 1 night at the end. We felt the hotel was a real treat and felt Very Royal !!

We had a great time at Sir Stamford with two young kids. Superb location and service. Can't wait to go back here again.

It is alright for the infrastructure but no refrigerator..

Great location and nice large rooms. General decor a little bit tired , stained carpets etc. Breakfast had a good selection but hot items were cold / lukewarm. Staff friendly..

Unique Beautiful Heritage building Superior classic interior design...somewhat tired shower water pressure but had superior stay..quiet,safe,great location to waterfront...would definately recommend and return..before it's converted to apartments!
