Hyatt Regency Sydney recensioner

In terms of scenery and amenities, this hotel is perfect. I booked a room in high level with Habour view so that I can watch the fireworks while I’m enjoying champagne in my own room. That was a top-notch experience. However, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The big window has noticeable stains that highly affect the view. The toilet is badly designed that the lid can never stand up straight. Flies are all over the washroom which is outrageous!

Location wasn’t actually strategic as the entrance was located like a quiet alley. There’s a very steep slope must walked uphill or downhill whenever going through CBD. No toothbrush, shaver provided. Others like hand soup, shower cap, cotton bud, sanitary bag only provided on the day checked-in, subsequent stays only clean up but not refilled. Cup and tea spoon were not cleaned, with sticky handle.

Very good location, just at Darling Harbour. Staff very friendly. Breakfast could be improved, no clear allergy indications and no staff ready to help.

Amazing! We went to the city for Vivid and the location was absolutely perfect. We will certainly be back.

No water bottles, only for premium members, tiny king bed room, unbranded coffee and tea sachets not worthy of a 5 star hotel. Couldn’t sleep because of the cars noise even though we were on the on the 9th floor. To be honest not worth the money.

We had a great stay here! Very close to Darling hb and the breakfast was great. Lovely staff and comfortable beds.

Strategic location, walking distance to Darling Harbour.

Lovely location but can be very busy, which mean you will not get an early room check-in or late check out .Also the room service is not existent. You need to pay for them to deliver meal to the room . That’s very disappointing

Facilities ordinary. Service ordinary. Room facilities normal. Nothing special. Room view is good. Little below 5 star standard.

Rooms is average small and toilet is not that clean.

We really liked the location, it was right next to Darling Harbour. We got a warm and friendly welcome by the intern Brent at the front desk. He was nice and told us about all the things to do around, however, we had requested a room with a view, that they didn't provide, which we didn't fuss over. We were pleasantly surprised to see an Indian dish in the already wonderful breakfast spread, and we loved that. The chef was kind enough to proactively ask us if we enjoyed the food and if we had a special request for the breakfast the next day, which they gladly honored. The hotel also had direct access to Darling Harbour, which was very convenient as we wanted to visit it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and liked the hospitality and customer service at Hyatt, and would gladly visit again.

Fantastic hotel with excellent location. Great views of the darling harbour and excellent wine and dine facilities around the hotel. Will highly recommended to anyone who is travelling and looking for a good place to stay in Sydney!
