Rydges-boenden i Sydney

Pros: Very good location, good deal for the secure public car park that is located in the same building. Very good professional service. Rooms are cleaned well. Cons: beds are not comfortable - we had a king size bed which in reality was just two joint mattresses. The mattresses are very soft and uncomfortable. The duvet has no cover and is simply folded inside two bed sheets. It would have been ok but the duvet has stains so overall not pleasant to sleep under. The sleep quality during our stay was not the best. However overall the hotel is very good for the price.

I only stayed 1 night in Sydney and arrived early morning, they won’t let you in till it’s check in time which is at 2pm and totally understand that. So I waited at the lobby seating area. However, other guests who arrived at 1pm managed to get in their room directly. They also called other guests who were early and waited with me but I only get to my room at 2.30pm. Otherwise, the hotel is great for layovers and if you have an early flight next day. Access to city is easy too as the train is just across the road.

När jag kom dit luktade rummet som stallcigaretter och stagnerande vatten som var extremt obehagligt.Jag var tvungen att låsa dörren öppen med min väska för att få frisk luft in med fönstret öppen. Jag slutade gå till stormarknaden för att köpa mattdeodoriserare och luftfärskare för att få lukten ut.Jag kunde fortfarande lukta den när jag lämnade efter två dagar. När jag gick in i sängen var det mycket uppenbart att sängen hade sovit in och lådan inte hade ändrats.Jag var tvungen att ta av sängen och göra det med det som lämnades med den blad som går över doona. Jag vet att det var NYE och betalade över $600 per natt för rummet, men jag förväntade mig inte att rummet inte skulle lukta okej och ha färsk lin.

We booked this hotel for a short stay of 2 days and 1 night before sending our mom to the airport for her flight back to Malaysia, and then continued our journey to other cities for sightseeing. The location is very convenient, with a 7-Eleven, Woolworths, and the train station all within easy walking distance. Cleanliness was excellent throughout our stay—the room, common areas, and walkways were all spotless, well maintained, and very pleasant. Overall, a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Highly recommended.

Hotellet är för gammalt Även efter att ha renoverats har det fortfarande en stark känsla av ålder. Belysningen från lobbyn till rummen är svag. Jag bokade en lägenhet med två sovrum för en familj. Jag tittade på bilderna och tyckte att den hade renoverats och såg vacker ut. Det var det värsta men dyraste hotellet jag bodde på under min gratisresa till Australien. Huspriserna i Sydney är för dåliga. Läget är okej Det finns många barnfaciliteter på torget inte långt från hotellet. På sommaren kan barn leka med vattenfontäner, klätterställningar och slussystem plats att ladda ur sin energi.

Rydges will be my first choice whenever I’m in Sydney. Brilliant location that allowed me to use public transport, or even walked to my destinations. Plus, the male receptionists did a great job. I appreciate that. Regarding meals there, I did not go to the Hotel restaurant yet, but I did order the Salmon which was very tasty. Thanks to the chef. On top of that, I noticed there’s a cafe next to the reception on the Ground Floor ♥️

The location was perfect next to the China Town & convenient to CBD. Only 15-20mins transportation to Sydney airport. I checked around 00:00, only One staff at the front desk, he seemed tired & his hand writing was terrible, the WiFi PW did not work & no one answer the phone when I dial from room. Next day, another helpful staff wrote the correct PW for me. The room was spacious but no enough desk area, the bed was comfy. The hygiene was unacceptable specially the toilet. The cleaning staff only clean twice during my 5 nights stay , the hair was sticked on the ceiling , molds were terrible in the shower area. The hotel need to enhance the cleaning & interior environment work. Overall this hotel was not worthy for the price I paid. Disappointed.

The stay was nice clean bed and bathroom the only real fault was the ac was absolutely terrible. I was advised that every rooms ac was not working correctly I ended up having to buy a fan so my boyfriend and I could sleep without melting.

I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay at Rudy’s North Sydney. The lovely man who checked me into the Hotel was so helpful. The following morning the host of the breakfast restaurant was also very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Rooms are renovated with nice products.

Good location, staff were nice. I found it a little run down, overall. The photo on the brochure must be a decade old! Inside the rooms and around the property is not 4 star.
