Czarny Kamień Resort & Spa

Everything would be really great if not one small thing that made me feel like cheated even if that was just a few PLN... At the check out the front-desk lady told me I was supposed to pay an additional climate tax. She said it was mentioned in my booking confirmation but it wasn't, actually it wasn't mentioned anywhere. I know this tax exists, but the hotel should inform the client about it, otherwise it should be calculated in the price you get on the invoice. That was nothing big, but I felt bad about it, so my rating is 4/5.

Spent 2 nights in this Resort in March. Although we opted for a stay during the week outside of main season (Mon-Wed) the resort was rather full. Appartment was spacious and clean, bed very comfy. Parking lot is huge, and compared to other hotels in Poland for no extra charge. Surrounding of the resort not so nice, either building sites or old ruines. Very dissapointed with dinners, although it was buffet, but completely lacking the variaty, no salads, only pancakes for dessets etc. Big let down was the wellness area. Swimming pool small and full of kids, no rest area with beds. Saunas and jacuzziz full all the time, outside shower non-functional. For 4*hotel we had higher expectations, do not count with relax here, its more suited for Polish families with small kids.

Very good meals in the restaurant. All the meals that we ordered was perfect. Very clean around all places in hotel. Service was very nice and smile. For the kids You can find very good equipped play room. Hotel close to nature wooded area around.

I highly recommend this place if you are searching for a good place to relax, the hotel is smaller than other resorts I have been to in Poland, which is welcome if you prefer fewer people. Rooms well equipped even dishwasher and washing machine etc., we had premium room - very nice and new, good view at forest side. The hotel and rooms are very clean and saw many times staff cleaning a lot during the day. The receptionist spoke English and was kind, the parking was good, and check-in was one of the best that I experienced in Poland. The pool inside was enough for us to have a fun little swim:) The restaurant cooks well. If you have an early dinner included (16-18:00) be prepared the choice is not too big as you could expect from larger resorts, but I think it is a good choice, all food was fresh and very tasty, better than quantity and lower quality. Kids room is fine to play and room with billiard and darts we enjoyed. Reminder for guests - some parts of the hotel are without an elevator, but the steps are short and safely covered by carpet, no problem for us. Room for improvement - swimming shoes are banned but the area around the pool is very very slippery, the gym missing dumbbells, restaurant is many time without service. Staff is hidden somewhere in the back, but always polite and kind. The door seals in the rooms need to be improved, they blow loudly. It is a small thing but overall very enjoyable stay, I must say we plan to visit in a different season than winter as well once again. If you prefer a less crowded hotel with a calm vibe surrounded by amazing nature, go for it. As a family with a boy 2,5 y.o, we enjoyed our stay much more than Blue Mountain for example. We had a great time in this lovely hotel. We visited for a New Year with a whole package including a disco, breakfast and dinners. A bottle of bubbly in each room to welcome guests was a nice touch. Everything was great: the location, the rooms, the hotel's staff, activities, swimming pools, saunas, the outdoor jacuzzi, and the food of course (except for the extra few kilograms we all gained as a result :) We constantly kept bumping into staff who were tirelessly cleaning all amenities and fixing whatever got broken. They were all helpful and polite! I loved the attention to detail and the fact that there was a shoe horn and a needle and thread set found in each room! Not many hotels offer these anymore, yet such useful items. All our requests were respected, nothing was impossible, all adding to a pleasant and relaxing stay. The hotel itself is built on top of a deep well with a see-through floor, which is an attraction itself. It is probably one of the best hotels we stayed in. Thank you to the all hotel crew! If we are back in Szklarska Poręba in future, this hotel would be our nr 1 choice for accommodation.

Everything was perfect. We have been there for the fourth time and it is always the same, at the highest level 🙂 The apartment, views, service and the entire organization of the event (we were there during Christmas) were perfect. We will definitely come back again soon.
