Taboga Palace Spa Hotel

Amazing hotel! We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and wish we had time to stay longer. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff and owner are very friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to go back and if you stay on the island, we highly recommend this hotel.

Taboga Palace Spa Hotel is the perfect island getaway spot. Super short walk from the ferry and also conveniently located for exploring the island. From the moment we arrived, Dave, the owner, made us feel at home with his warm hospitality, great stories, and fantastic drink recommendations. You really must have him make you a margarita (or two)! Maria and the staff were equally attentive and helpful, ensuring our stay was seamless. Our room was so clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool overlooking the bay – a lovely spot to relax day or night. We stayed 3 nights and felt Taboga Palace was wonderful place to unwind, meet fellow travelers and fully enjoy the beauty of the island. We would absolutely return – highly recommended!

Centrally located near the ferry dock. Beautiful, clean and well appointed. David, who built the hotel from scratch, is very welcoming and charming. Provided advice on restaurants, hikes etc. He also makes a powerful gin and tonic! Pool is spectacular with its views. A great place to rest and decompress.

Loved this hotel! Very close to the beach and restaurants. Had everything we needed. Great views, very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. We loved the infinity pool, especially at night. We felt very safe. Would def stay again.

I recently stayed at the Taboga Palace Spa Hotel in Panama and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The owner, Dave, was extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The service throughout our stay was superior, with staff going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Our room was perfect for my husband and me. It was clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and we had a great night sleep. Drinks at the bar were strong and delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. We loved trying out the different cocktails on offer, and Dave was always happy to make recommendations. However, the best part of the hotel was undoubtedly the infinity pool. It was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun, with stunning views of the ocean. The pool area was very clean and well-maintained, and we spent many hours lounging by the pool, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings Taboga has to offer. We can not wait to come back to this paradise.

Best bar and bartenders on the island! The Taboga Palace had not only immaculate facilities and a beautiful infinity pool with a gorgeous view of the sunrise, but it has a great location in the middle of the island. The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, knowing the hours of all the restaurants and having connections to local boat tour guides for us. The island itself is a peaceful short trip from Panama City with frequent ferry rides and we were able to meet other guests and the owners as we enjoyed our evenings in the bar/lounge with fresh mandarin lemon margaritas. I can't recommend it highly enough; if you are into great stories, excellent facilities, and a short trip to a sandy, isolated island, Taboga Palace is exactly for you.
