Location is good just 2 mins drive from the ferry. It is on a busy road but we didn’t hear any road noise but our room was at the back. The room was pretty dated but clean. Breakfast was provided albeit no choice. We were happy with what we were given but fussy eaters might prefer a choice! There is adequate parking. When we had questions, they were answered. The room wasn’t serviced during our stay which didn’t bother us but might be an issue for some. We looked at the Tadoussac Hotel and this one before going to Tadoussac. I think for location I’d have chosen the Tadoussac Hotel with hindsight. However, as we booked through an agent I don’t know the price differential. Overall a good stay if you are expecting a clean functional place rather than anything fancy.

The Auberge is situated outside the village on a very busy road used 24/24h by large trucks queuing to go on the ferry. As our room was in the front, it has been very noisy the whole night. In addition, our room was in the basement (this had not been notified to us prior to our arrival) with no windows except for a little built-in in the front door. Furniture was poor; we’d asked for an extra bed for our child and it was rusty. In that particular room there is no air conditioning (whereas the outside advertising board claims there is). We asked for switching room but it was not possible. We then decided to shorten our stay. The tenant didn’t want to discuss reimbursement with us as we booked through a travel agency and he started to be rude with us. At the end, he never reimbursed us claiming to the travel agency that we left the room completely messy; luckily, we took pictures before leaving but even if we could prove he was lying, we didn’t get our money back. Breakfast looks nice on pictures but appear to be very little in terms of quantity. Obviously we do not recommend this place with dishonest tenants

Very comfortable and cute pavilion for one couple. Clean room and very accommodating host. We booked last minute and had no issues checking in. Nice view out back with patio chairs. Merci, auberge maison gagné.

My husband and I stayed here last summer. We had a very warm welcome and were delighted with our "room", a separate cabin behind the auberge, beautifully decorated. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful too. I highly recommend the Auberge.

Une adresse et un service inoubliables.....on se sent chez des amis. Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans dans une merveille de maisonnette-bonbonnière au charme et à la décoration folles. Un enchantement, un confort, une atmosphère crées par la délicieuse Hela et son époux Imed prêts à vous rendre tous services pour que votre séjour soit le plus agréable et reposant possible. Des hôtes,discrets et efficaces. Sourires et bonne humeur contagieux. Petits-déjeuners entièrement confectionnés sur place, servis sur assiette. Ici rendre service n'est pas une charge mais un plaisir. A recommander sans la moindre réserve. Chantal et Bernard

Unser Zimmer war sehr gross und lag im Untergeschoss, ein Fenster gab es nur in der Türe. Das Zimmer war ausserdem zu einer Strasse heraus gelegen, die auch von Lastwagen viel genutzt wird, auch bei Nacht. Das wäre für einen kurzen Aufenthalt auch ok, wenn das Zimmer sauber wäre. Leider war das nicht der Fall, eine der Matratzen hatte Flecken, und auch der Boden war nicht gut gereinigt. Wirklich sehr schade, denn die Gastgebenden sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Sehr süße Unterkunft mit dem besten Frühstück in Kanada. Jeder bekommt einen Teller mit dem Frühstück, auf dem ein frisches Croissants, Müsli, Joghurt, wahrscheinlich selbstgemachte Marmelade, Toast, leckeres (!) Rührei und ein bisschen Obst. Die Zimmer sind klein , wie häufig in Küstenregionen, aber süß. Die Gastgeber sind super gastfreundlich.
