Surf Riad Taghazout - Salty Waves

Excellent hostel with friendly staff and a good location between the beach and the skatepark. The roof had some incredible food and views over the bay. We stayed for 4 nights and the bed was so comfy, however bring earplugs as the stray dogs and cats (while cute and friendly) can be very loud at night.

This hostel was amazing, I stayed here on a surf trip with my university and had so much fun. It's in a wonderful location, a short walk from a skatepark and Anchor Point. There are loads of great restaurants around and the rental surf equipment was well maintained. They were able to organise last minute entertainment for us and it was overall a great place to stay.

I went with my Surf Society (38 people). Everyone had an incredible time. It was great value, very friendly staff. Delicious Moroccan food every dinner. Incredible sunset views from the rooftop terrace. Beds were comfy. Great location. What more could you ask for? Hopefully we will be back next year.

We embarked on a university surf trip and Said was so helpful and provided everything for the whole week. Offering different packages for different level surfers and other activities in the day. It was so good we are even booking the same trip this year. The terrace is also a lovely addition to the hostel.

We stayed for 7 days at the Hotel. As we followed 5 days surfinglessons in the surf Academy we ordered for every day our lunch. And the lunch was excellent catered by our friend, surfteacher, Ahmed at our room!! That was so nice of him! The surfing lessons were super organised. Some times we went to other places for surfing and this was a very nice experience. Our coaches did it all very well! Thanks very much, Simon, Sif and Ahmed. We had such a food time guys!! And thanks to the driver Brahim! The breakfast at the hotel was very good and there was many variation. The staff of the hotel were all very friendly. At the bar as well 😀 We had such a good time in Morocco, thank you Surf Academy and Hotel 🙏

As a university society, we took 75 students surfing in Taghazout, where we stayed with Surf Taghazout. The whole trip, from booking right through to the end, was an absolute breeze. Saïd's professionalism meant there was no issue organising so many students and the whole trip went without a hitch. The hostel itself was easily capable of facilitating so many of us, and the Rooftop Terrace and its team led to some memorable sunrises and sunsets (especially the optional Vibe Night!). We got to experience different beaches for surfing, with equipment for all levels of experience, as well as some intense volleyball games on the beach! It was one of our best surf trips to date as a society, and we highly recommend Surf Taghazout!
