Location is ideal Service is superb But the condition hot the hotel is a no go Other than the location, staff's service and free breakfast the condition of the room is a huge no. Photo and real life is completely different.

Location and staff were excellent, but this was the most dirty and run-down room we have experienced in the whole trip around Taiwan. There was unpleasnt smell of cigarettes and smoke in the corridors, the lift smelled of urine, the bathroom had a strong smell of janola disinfectant, we have been attacked by mosquitos during all three nights, despite being on the 6th floor, there was no insect netting in the window, hundreds of small ants were crowling in the bed, the carpet was very dirty, there was dust on all shelves and the furniture, cobwebs and thick dust under TV shelf and around the beds and ceiling, poor lighting in the room, fridge made very loud, high pitch noises, had to be turned off for the night, broken floor tiles with deep holes - see photos, bad smell from the AC. The hotel rooms require major refurbishment and very deep, thorough cleanup. Most importantly, the insect netting in the windows is an absolute requirement to prevent the mosquitos infestation. We had very poor sleep because of that and it really spoiled our stay in this hotel.

People working there are nice. Instalations are rundown, dirty. And with bugs. Breakfast is not worth it. Look at the pictures, not at my words. No idea how they have 3 starts. I'll never book that hotel again. Only redeeming point is near the train station. Avoid

For the price paid, there's really nothing to complain about. The hotel is a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable enough for our one night stay in Taichung. It has a pretty good location too, right behind a big mall and near the train station as well. Free breakfast is really decent.

This hotel seems old but it's clean and well maintain. The location is really good, it's near to lala port, some stopping complex, train station, lots of local food around, 711 and family Mart right across the road. Their staff is very friendly and helpful and polite. There's a big parking space in front. Their breakfast are simple yet nice. It was a comfortable stay in this hotel. Recommended!

Room was smelling like someone smoked there. Location is bit towards old city so if you are tourist, please look where abouts.

We had a nice stay. Location is perfect. 10 min to Taichung station. Everything is walkable. There is a 7/11 and family mart by the hotel. Room is specious enough. Has working space, fridge and kettle. Nice breakfast every day. My only problem wifi is very patchy and unreliable for working.

Traditional Chinese style, nice staff, efficient service, clean room, big bathroom, comfortable bed, fast wifi, with good breakfast, excellent location near the train station of Taichung. It would be perfect if provided a gym room for me.

Friendly and attentive staff made the hotel stay more enjoyable. I would recommend that they upgrade some of the interior furnishings.

The hotel itself is very old and some parts definitely need to be refurbished and refurnished. I had issues with the door lock, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helped me fix my issue. The hotel has all necessities I needed as a solo traveler, but you definitely won’t get any luxury here. For short stays and budget, this hotel may be good, because of its incredible location in the city. In just a few minutes you are at the train station. Next to the hotel are 2 convenience stores. The hotel scores in its really friendly staff and its strategic location. However the building and the room is very old, the bed takes time getting used to and definitely needs an overall upgrade!
