Do not recommend unless there are no other options. Super difficult to find, room door was wide open when we checked in?? Water cooler in the room was useless but made a lot of noise. No AC/warmer so we had to open the windows and there were loads of mosquitoes. Bathroom had a tub despite its size. Door to the room was a doorknob too! Felt really unsafe.

The hotel could use a slight renovation, but all in all it was quite luxurious for this price range. The location isn't too bad, you can walk to a big Night Market from there, there are also plenty of bus options from the nearby stop. It is quite easy to reach, although I think the location on Trip might not be fully accurate. Use google maps!

The room is very good for the price and the location is good for most tourist things in this area for a 2 day stay. In some ways, it was better that most rooms that are over this price would pay in taipei for something equivalent. As long as you have the time, this hotel is well worth trying on a week with 2 sunny days.

The hotel is very old, the room, towels and bed have a strong mildew smell. If you’re on a budget, is better to choose a newer hotel. This hotel is extremely outdated with worn out sheets, beds and bathroom facilities, all of which have a persistent unpleasant smell, the toilet bowl was clogged as well. Definitely not recommended!

Old with character, in need of a refurb but good value for the price & well located for a young family.

My stay at Forbest Hotel was enjoyable overall. The location was excellent, with easy access to attractions and transportation. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spacious and well-furnished, providing great comfort during my stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. However, the cleanliness of the room could have been better, as it didn’t meet my expectations.

I like this place. The hotel interior is very elegant.

Have stayed here before due to price and convenience however, leaves a lot to be desired; cleaning and some general maintenance can help to improve their score. I hope they can do it in future.

Good location in Taichung and easy to travel from there. However, the accommodation is really dirty and smells like you are going to be ******* by ghosts. To be honest, it was a scary moment living in this property. Just enough staying their for 2 nights. The facilities is too old and it is not about the vintage culture you wanted to preserve but this hotel doesn’t have capabilities for doing renovation. Even the AC was dusty and just like breathing dust and smoke. Overall, it is definitely not recommended for renting there.

The location is great and the room is cozy and it has a rustic vibe that add a little value to me. Will recommend

Nice price for take a sleep.

The hotel is quite old, not soundproof, smells of cigarettes in the room. But the location is good, near 7-11 and there are many shops, many small restaurants nearby hotel. But acceptable for the room price that is not high If not during the festival. This hotel easy for transport to every where because have many bus stations nearby.
