Location was great and staff was friendly. Hotel room is clean and cleaning is done daily. definitely will revisit Beacon hotel if i frequent taichung.

Location 100point. The street next to hotel is the night market.

The location is very strategic but....the service is tooooo bad. Firstly i want to mention about their room service. They did not clean up my room even though i have hanging the card on my door. Besides, i want to mention about the attitude of the front desk, They are not even smile with you and the way they reply client are very rude.Then, i want to mention about the bathroom is drainage system is not good.

Hotel is old, room have mouldy smell Toilet shower head cannot be positioned downwards. Toilet bowl is tiny Towels are so old that linen are flying everywhere. Room light controls are via a dusty phone button panel with no English. Food places nearby don't open till late afternoon. Never coming back again.

Location is good. Bed is comfortable. Room is clean.

2 streets away from FengJia Night Market. The hotel is clean and spacious.

It’s a 5.5 out of 10 hotel. Great location and close to a lot of food options. Basically it’s in the area where you can find everything. However, it’s an old hotel that has been renovated a couple years ago. You can see some traits, e.g. the black molds at the corner of the shower door. There was a weird solid thing in one of the pillows that I didn’t even dare to open and check.

The location is good, right outside FengChia market, but the bus to and from the HSR comes every hour and is usually delayed. Better to take a cab. Beyond that, the temperature control in the room doesn’t exist. We set the temperature at 24 degrees, but it was freezing all 3 nights. My husband usually loves the cold weather and we sleep in aircon at home, but even he was shivering from the cold.

No hygiene and staff show bad attitude If you want to stay at this hotel need to think first.Because I got bite insects after stay, you may refer the picture as I attached. When we inform the front desk (lady pregnant )the way not even apologise and show bad attitude.It was terrible. And straight away told us this is your body skin sensitive. At the first place, if your room is clean why my skin will get infected. Not even give a good or proper explanation. This was my first time faced this issue. Definitely will not stay this hotel again and bad bad bad experience.

The hotel’s location is very good, but the room is quite dusty and dirty, you can see the layer of dust on the kettle, tv remote control, table and so on.

Lobby at highest level, and will cause “lift jam” we wait for around 30 minutes for get the lift. As we have to check out at level 12 after that need to go down again.

I enjoyed it during the stay overall, but the hotel could improve its flexibility with check-in times. A strict 3 PM check-in policy can be inconvenient for guests arriving after long journeys. Since it wasn’t a peak period and there weren’t many guests, offering an early check-in by even 30 minutes to an hour would have been a nice touch. Small gestures like this can greatly enhance the overall guest experience. Thank you for considering this suggestion!

The plus point is the hotel location. It is easy accessible to shops, night market and surrounding areas.
