King's Garden Villa recensioner

Was worried about the mixed Google reviews but Villa area was nicer than expected. Recommended to come on a weekday so there are fewer people. Enjoyed the public hot springs (room came with 1 coupon) and the personal room hot springs). Booked Tuscany room and the hot springs are located outdoors, you can still do a nude dip but take note that there are other rooms above you, can wrap a towel from the room the pools. Room itself is smaller than expected but quite decent. Some flies around but otherwise good.

We did not drive and took public bus up Guanziling. Alighted at the last stop then were prepared to walk uphill towards the hotel. However the walk was more challenging than expected. To reach the hotel faster, we climbed up Haohanpo which has close to 300 steps with our heavy luggage, and it was raining then. You can imagine our ordeal. After Haohanpo, it will take another 15 mins uphill to arrive at the hotel. Fortunately the spa at the hotel was wonderful and soothed all the aches we got. The lesson learnt is to avoid public transportation or opt for a nearer spa hotel to the bus stop.

5pm check in and 11am check out is too short. 6 full hours shorter stay. Basically u check in to sleep and then check out. Can’t enjoy the facilities much. This is suppose to be relaxing vacation spot. Don’t understand why they need so long to clean up the rooms. Front counter very strict with 11am check out. It’s muddy water and not mud. As the location is middle of nowhere and the short stay hour, you are force to eat in the resort. The front counter will push you their set menu for 2 at TWD1380. Swimming costume are a must to go to their public pool. So again you are forced to buy their ugly swimming costume at exorbitant price of TWD1080.

Excellent service and the food was fabulous, in room equipped electro features in our hot spring tub, wonderful 😊

We loved it, especially the spa!

Comfortable hotel and part of a nice spa complex. The room was a bit dated and the outdoor area could have been cleaner. Very good breakfast

Staff were very accommodating and helpful (especially with our poor Mandarin).

Great hot spring. Great spa. Good breakfast. But if you don’t have car, with a heavy suitcase, It would be difficult to go up to the hill. There used to be a cart from the parking lot, to bring your baggage, but not any more.

Nice resort with private in-room hot spring tubs. Location of room is not conducive for elderlies and if you have liggages. We have to lug our luggages from the reception lobby to the room which is located in another building and part of the resort and it's with stairs up and down. Luckily we met a nice lady staff who helped carry some of our luggages. Then when we almost reached our room, a guy manning the spa entrance told us we can call hotel lobby and arrange for staff to carry our luggages. The checked-in staff who guided us should have told us earlier and offered staff to carry our luggages since we had conveyed our difficulties to her.

Very good hotel with hot spring bath for in the room. Clean and tidy!

Staff are polite and the place is clean. The best part about King’s mansion is the mud hot spring. The facilities and choices at the public spa is amazing. Definitely a place worth revisiting.

The check in time after 17:00 is far too late. Also, the check out before 11am is too early, not allowing the guests to fully enjoy the hotel spa facilities. Our room was a little dusty, not properly cleaned.

Very pleasant place to stay with a great onsen attached. Room was comfy and kids enjoyed the mezzanine level beds. Food was OK. Views were also good.

Always an awesome place for a retreat. Friendly and helpful staffs who are always there to help. Strongly recommended.
