Fun Inn Taipei recensioner

Homey space, quite tight with all the people inside and only 2 public bathroom on 2nd floor. Anyway the guest have to manage using it very well. I admired about how the location of hotel is so close to ximen and just 10 minutes walk to airport train station, just right to say that this hotel location is super convenience. Another thing is I’m having really goodnight sleep for the whole 4 nights. The other guest has respect the rules and manners, everyone has keep the noise low and I’m very happy with it. Nice 😊

Pros: Great location in central Taipei. The bedding was clean. Price was good. There is a common room with kitchen in the basement. The lockers were good to put your bags away in securely. Check out time of 11.30am was more generous than most places. The water in the showers was a good temperature. Cons: The guy I got on the check in was curt to the point of rudeness. The toilet seat in the male dorm kept falling down, so you could stand peeing trying to hold it up or pee through the hole. Not ideal. Lots of mosquitoes in the basement. There are endless little signs telling you not to do certain things and that “violators” will be fined - this didn’t seem like the fun implied by the name “Fun Inn”. The toilets smelt like pee - quite possibly due to the aforementioned toilet seat issue.

The best location, it's close to MRT and easy to find. The room was clean and I really loved the toilet in the room, it's convenient for taking a bath. The buck was comfortable and soft. The landlord is also nice and can store the language overnight by paying more.

Will never come back. Room was squeezy and smelly. Dirty. It was so packed with people. I couldn’t stand it. Regretted the minute I checked in. Wanted to cancel and get a refund, but was not allowed. Had to put my luggage outside near the reception as there were no space. 1 toilet shared by so many people.

Fun Inn is always my go-to hostel/inn whenever I visit Taipei. Close to the transportation but not to the crowd so I always feel safe in this inn. Of course, Ill be back again. 😅

Unfortunately when i stayed there, the room smell so bad because of other guests i think, bathroom is very limited, only 1 on each room and there is only 1 public bathroom on the 6th floor, good thing is the location is very good near ximending and taipei main station

THE HOTEL WAS SO GOOD ALL THE FACILITIES AND SERVICES TOP NOTCH! I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMENMED EVERYONE EASY ACCESS AT THIS AREA WOULD REPEAT Again!

There are no towels and slippers. I support that towels and slippers can be sold separately, but the quality of slippers of 30 yuan is too poor, and towels are not worth 160 yuan, which is too rubbish.

It was a convenient place to be and had friendly staff. There is a lounge downstairs, but I found it had cockroaches, so I was a little put off. Other than that, the rest was great!

It has a great location and happy with my stay here. Less than 10 mins to Ximending Market. In between both Taipei Main Station and Ximen station. Lots of food eateries nearby. 7-11 and family Mart also nearby.

It’s neat and quiet place with a common area to relax which is more than a traveler’s need.

Overall I had a good experience there. In most of the hostels I can stay in the lobby after check out and even use their laundry service, but here the receptionist just asked.. “do you have the card?? No.” I don’t get it, I was about to throw some additional money to this hostel by using their laundry service, so maybe consider some option in the future as I believe the business exists for purpose on making money.

Good hostel, not far from Taipei Main station, cafes and restaurants nearby, central in Ximen. Staff is friendly and do a great work!
