Fun Inn Taipei recensioner

Pros: Great location in central Taipei. The bedding was clean. Price was good. There is a common room with kitchen in the basement. The lockers were good to put your bags away in securely. Check out time of 11.30am was more generous than most places. The water in the showers was a good temperature. Cons: The guy I got on the check in was curt to the point of rudeness. The toilet seat in the male dorm kept falling down, so you could stand peeing trying to hold it up or pee through the hole. Not ideal. Lots of mosquitoes in the basement. There are endless little signs telling you not to do certain things and that “violators” will be fined - this didn’t seem like the fun implied by the name “Fun Inn”. The toilets smelt like pee - quite possibly due to the aforementioned toilet seat issue.

The best location, it's close to MRT and easy to find. The room was clean and I really loved the toilet in the room, it's convenient for taking a bath. The buck was comfortable and soft. The landlord is also nice and can store the language overnight by paying more.

Will never come back. Room was squeezy and smelly. Dirty. It was so packed with people. I couldn’t stand it. Regretted the minute I checked in. Wanted to cancel and get a refund, but was not allowed. Had to put my luggage outside near the reception as there were no space. 1 toilet shared by so many people.

Fun Inn is always my go-to hostel/inn whenever I visit Taipei. Close to the transportation but not to the crowd so I always feel safe in this inn. Of course, Ill be back again. 😅

Unfortunately when i stayed there, the room smell so bad because of other guests i think, bathroom is very limited, only 1 on each room and there is only 1 public bathroom on the 6th floor, good thing is the location is very good near ximending and taipei main station

Good location, near Ximenting just walk 8 min. Near convenient store

THE HOTEL WAS SO GOOD ALL THE FACILITIES AND SERVICES TOP NOTCH! I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMENMED EVERYONE EASY ACCESS AT THIS AREA WOULD REPEAT Again!

Good hostel, not far from Taipei Main station, cafes and restaurants nearby, central in Ximen. Staff is friendly and do a great work!

Its my first time going solo travel and choosing this hostel is really worth it! Location is very near to Ximending Night Market and below there’s a Chinese restaurant that serves noodles. The room is okay and your bed is spacious enough with privacy curtain. The shower has hot and cold, though I would love if the add bidet to toilet. It’s cheap and budget friendly. Very good experience.

Located a little bit further from metro station with lift or escalator facility exit. So if you are carrying a lot of luggage might be a bit troublesome. But this place gap more privacy. 2 rooms shared bath room. Locker storage is big. Just that the common area is in the basement, have to walk down the stairs. Sleep place is good. Bright and clean.

The curtain beside the bed is unable to open so the space for bed will be very dark if without the light. Curtain is very dirty and a lot of dust there. Others is still acceptable for 1 day stay.

I’ve stayed a lot of places in this has by far been my worst experience in years. I think as far as the location and amenities and the cleanliness everything is fine. But I tried to cancel my booking they refuse because somebody is snoring so loudly I can’t sleep from 2 AM to 7 AM. It’s impossible for me to sleep. so then I finally get a few hours of sleep I’m awake and I am packing my stuff getting ready to leave and they promptly come right at 12 o’clock as I’m already leaving, the system they have in the checkout has them want to charge me. The front desk was pretty rude to me as I was leaving I told them this isn’t fair. Also, as I was leaving, there was a European guy there was working for the place. He was doing his daily activities and I was offering to clean the bathroom by taking out the trash that was overflowing and he freaked out at me and told me to put it back. let’s just say it was a horrible night and even worse but luckily the dumplings that were right outside put me in a better mood. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but I noticed that the Fun Inn (that was nothing but fine. I asked a few people if they were busy they were just sitting around on their phones and they all said they were) had already sent Trip.com a message that I had checked out a couple minutes late. Well, I just wanna let everybody know that this could stay anywhere else other than that place.
