City Inn Hotel (Taipei Station Branch I) recensioner

One of the best hotel of its type that we have stayed in, if not the best. Especially things like biscuits with coffee and tea, free flow of hot drinks at the pantry, free noodles after 10pm and you can even do your own laundry. Location wise, it’s very near to the metro station, just go to exit Z6 and the hotel also near to some of Taiwan good snack food store/stall.

My overall experience at Cityinn Hotel was quite positive. The hotel’s location is excellent, situated near a major transportation hub, and there are plenty of great food options nearby. The price is very reasonable, and the staff were friendly and provided good service. I also appreciated the complimentary instant noodles and drinks offered in the evening—a nice touch for late-night snacks. The room was generally clean, though I did notice some small stains on the towels and bedding. The hotel provides a well-known breakfast and souvenir pre-order service, which is delivered the next morning—a unique feature I haven’t seen at other hotels and found very convenient. However, there were a few downsides. The room was quite small, with the bathroom directly facing the bed, which could be a bit awkward for friends sharing the room. Additionally, the limited space made it difficult to open two suitcases at the same time, which was inconvenient for two people. The soundproofing was also poor—I could easily hear noises from the hallway, and even the music or hair dryer sounds from the neighboring rooms. These were the less enjoyable aspects of my stay. That said, considering the hotel’s affordable price and prime location, these issues are somewhat understandable. I would still consider staying at Cityinn Hotel on my next trip to Taipei, though I’d opt for a larger room to ensure a more comfortable experience.

The hotel is pretty close to Taipei Railway Station and easy to find. Clean and with good service.

Room space is limited but as i am s single occupant, is fine. 2 luggages of a large and another small size, it pose some difficulty to have both opened up. Location is great, very near to taipei main station, shopping mall, many eateries and family marts around hotel. Picked this hotel for its budget friendly rate. Picked a non window room type, room 310. Sound proof is not as great, however it doesn’t bother me as much. Hotel also provides free washer, dryer and detergent, which is a big help.

We stayed at City Inn in Taichung and chose to stay at City Inn for our Taipei leg as well. We had a great experience at both! They upgraded us to a bigger room with lovely windows. Amenities provided were great, free cup noodles at night, snacks and drinks throughout. Front desk service was lovely - one of the male receptionist greeted us every night when we got back. They also helped us store our bags after check-out and booked an airport taxi for us. Location was so convenient - near the main station - and there were so many good stuff around us. Would come back again!

The hotel is in a good location. Fair room size, very clean, polite reception. But the Wifi connection is so poor which is a shame. It would be really helpful if the hotel can improve the Wifi.

Loved the services provided — delivery of fuhang breakfast and the souvenirs (pastries and cookies). Clean room with cleaning services everyday. Small room, but I would think it’s just nice for 1 person!

The hotel is right at the centre of the Taipei, easy to travel to everywhere Hotel also prepared the birthday surprise for me which I didn’t expect that Also the staff is friendly and willing to answer the questions, helpful and informative

Good hotel for one night near Taipei station. Small room but had everything.

The hotel front desk service was excellent! We will definitely stay there again when we visit Taipei!
