Great location — right in the middle of Ximending and just a 5-minute walk from Ximen Station (Gate 6). Even on rainy days, you can easily make your way to the hostel without getting too wet. The space is clean and well-maintained, with the trash and shared washrooms cleaned daily. The balcony is a nice spot to relax at night, and the check-in/check-out process is super easy with minimal hassle. Would definitely recommend for a convenient and comfortable stay!

If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay as a solo traveler around Ximending, you must try wow hostel Ximen. It’s literally in the center of ximen walking street and 2-3 minutes walk to Ximen MRT. Very accessible.
The comfort and shower rooms are clean. I booked a single bed and it’s spacious. I think (not sure because I haven’t tried) you can heat your food because they do have a small kitchen.
They also allow late check in just inform them via email.

Very center of Ximending area. Good for downtown stay but little bit noisy. The bed is quite big in hostel class.

Very good hostel with people from everywhere. Not super social but also not super quiet. Very nice balcony with view. Beds were comfortable enough for me but matras could be softer. Only thing which involved some luck was the bed you are getting assigned. There is a huge difference in comfort between the beds in the same room. Some have way more privacy then others and have more space for luggage etc. It felt a bit to busy with 18 beds inside 1 room.

It was a good stay, the bathroom and toilet surprisingly clean and no unpleasant smell. They have refrigerate to keep the food and drinks, Cold air-con, lobby and balcony to sit and gather around, coffee, water dispenser, microwave, personal locker, and more. Definitely not for light sleepers and it will be quite troublesome to bring medium-big size luggage.
