The place really nice and friendly for a solo traveller with affordable price, good location, cleanliness. It’s everything you could ask for this price. The staffs are also nice and well communicated in English. The room is clean with your own space. The public bathrooms are enough for everyone, no need to wait at all. The location is also good near Taipei Main Station. Only 5 mins walk (Recommend exit M6) I would recommend this place for a solo traveller like me.

Back again for 1 night stay before heading off to more adventures in Taiwan. Love the concept and good for short stays. Overall clean, comfortable and good amenities even when toilets are shared.

York design hotel is located about 5-10 mins away from one of the exits from Taipei main station. There are a lot of food options just around the area as well, which is great! Stayed at the single capsule with shared bathroom and generally it’s clean. Do note that the room can be quite small and dim and the door/walls are quite thin hence you can hear the footsteps or when other guests close their room door. Overall a good experience for a one night stay!

Very good location with reasonable price, will stay again for next visit to Taiwan.

Affordable price for 3 nights. Walking distance from Taipei Main Station. Comfy and fluffy bed for a good rest. Pantry should have wash hand basin and washroom is very far from pantry.

location was really good, the staff were very helpful and friendly too but my room in the basement felt like a prison cell, having a small space is fine but the interior can be improved.

Great place to stay at an affordable price. This is my second time staying here. It has a strategic location, close to Taipei Main Station, with many local food options. The only downsides are the poor noise insulation – you can hear footsteps from upstairs (since the single room is in the basement) and snoring from neighboring rooms.

The location is good and it is very close to public transit. They have bath pools especially for men and women separately which are not open 24 hours. The room is small enough to open your suitcase. Good price and it is good for budget travellers.

The location is very convenient. It is near to Taipei Main Station. The overall cleanliness and room size are perfect for a solo traveller. There are a lot of food and shopping choices near the accommodation too.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location is fantastic, the overall experience was mixed. The hotel is situated in a vibrant and funky neighborhood, full of small street food restaurants that give it a great local charm. If you're into exploring authentic, lively spots, this area is perfect. However, the hotel itself is quite worn down. It’s marketed as a "Design Hotel," but the room I stayed in was far from what I expected. My 12m² room felt cramped and humid, and the lack of room cleaning, while not a major issue for me, could bother some guests. The floor was noticeably worn out, which added to the tired feel of the place. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and plan to spend most of your time outside, it works. But if you're after a comfortable stay with modern amenities, this might not be the best choice.
