Near the train station, many great food options nearby. Clean room and was much bigger than expected. The toilet entrance is stepped, so need to be careful.

The place really nice and friendly for a solo traveller with affordable price, good location, cleanliness. It’s everything you could ask for this price. The staffs are also nice and well communicated in English. The room is clean with your own space. The public bathrooms are enough for everyone, no need to wait at all. The location is also good near Taipei Main Station. Only 5 mins walk (Recommend exit M6) I would recommend this place for a solo traveller like me.

Back again for 1 night stay before heading off to more adventures in Taiwan. Love the concept and good for short stays. Overall clean, comfortable and good amenities even when toilets are shared.

York design hotel is located about 5-10 mins away from one of the exits from Taipei main station. There are a lot of food options just around the area as well, which is great! Stayed at the single capsule with shared bathroom and generally it’s clean. Do note that the room can be quite small and dim and the door/walls are quite thin hence you can hear the footsteps or when other guests close their room door. Overall a good experience for a one night stay!

Affordable price for 3 nights. Walking distance from Taipei Main Station. Comfy and fluffy bed for a good rest. Pantry should have wash hand basin and washroom is very far from pantry.

location was really good, the staff were very helpful and friendly too but my room in the basement felt like a prison cell, having a small space is fine but the interior can be improved.

Great place to stay at an affordable price. This is my second time staying here. It has a strategic location, close to Taipei Main Station, with many local food options. The only downsides are the poor noise insulation – you can hear footsteps from upstairs (since the single room is in the basement) and snoring from neighboring rooms.

nice budget hotel for solo traveller that need shelter n place to keep your stuffs. compact but cozy and the plus point is walking distance to taipei main station n center of activities

The location is good and it is very close to public transit. They have bath pools especially for men and women separately which are not open 24 hours. The room is small enough to open your suitcase. Good price and it is good for budget travellers.

The location is perfect. Right by Taipei main station which is a big transportation hub, with lots of restaurants and shops, in a buzzing neighborhood also with lots of shops and restaurants. Despite the location, it is quiet! The rooms are comfortable and very clean, not big but enough, well-decorated (all white with marine theme). The staff is friendly and speaks excellent English. Note that there is no breakfast (not a problem as there are tons of street food right outside the door) and no room cleaning (you can ask for additional charge, 300 NT). Highly recommended.
