Platsen ligger nära Taipeis järnvägsstation. Rummet är litet, men det finns tillräckligt med utrymme för aktiviteter. Toaletten och badrummet är ganska rena, såsom tandborstar och tofflor.

I recently stayed at Main Inn Homestay as a solo traveler and found it to be a pleasant, budget-friendly option. The accommodation offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, which is ideal for those exploring on their own. While the homestay lacks an elevator—a potential drawback for guests with heavy luggage or mobility concerns—the overall value for the price remains a strong point. I hope the management considers installing an elevator in the future to enhance accessibility. Despite this minor shortfall, the experience was enjoyable and well-suited for solo travelers looking for affordable lodging.

Main Inn Taipei is a comfortable and affordable accommodation option in a highly strategic location in Taipei. The hotel is located right next to Exit Y13 of Taipei Main Station. Exiting the MRT, you'll step less than 50 steps to this hotel, amazing! making it very easily accessible by public transportation. Main Inn Taipei generally has a good level of cleanliness, the rooms and bathrooms are clean. Location: Situated right next to Taipei Main Station, you have easy access to the MRT, railway, and buses. This makes it convenient to explore the entire city of Taipei and its surroundings. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by various food stalls and other shops, so you won't have trouble finding places to eat or shop. Transportation Access: * MRT: Taipei Main Station (Exit Y13) is just a few steps from the hotel. * Railway: Taipei Main Station also serves intercity trains. * Bus: There are many bus stops around Taipei Main Station. * Taxi/Grab: Taxis and online transportation services like Grab are easily found in this area. Main Inn Taipei offers simple and private rooms with free and fast Wi-Fi, with both 4G and 5G available. Hotel facilities include a comfortable kitchen with a simple free breakfast. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and don't hesitate to initiate conversations to point out tourist attractions.

Location excellence, but the counter is level 2 ..need to carry luggage up and down to and from level 2 is a challenge for senior or those with heavy luggage. Free beakfast meal were simple (was at level 6, no lift provided, climb staircase), is ok if u do not demand much choice of food, need to self service and clean up after meal. I took one meal out of six day stay, preferred eat outside Staff are very friendly..room was not that big but the price was not really expensive

This is a good place to stay if you need to be very near to Taipei Main Station and Taoyuan Airport MRT, with the latter just less than 5 minutes to the ticketing and platform area. Few steps only from Y13 exit of Taipei City Mall underground, to get to the MRT exits Y16 and Y20 is easily reached on the opposite side below. Word of caution though, the hotel does not have any lifts which maybe troublesome for those with heavy luggage. However, once you reach the reception at level 2 via stairs at the main entrance, the rooms inside are relatively big enough at a low price compared to nearby hotels on this area. Safe locker and fridge is also provided with a sofa near the bed, though having a room with no windows means the dirt might accumulate on some of the corners. The amenities are at level 6 such as the laundry area and main breakfast/eating area. The breakfast included on this booking is good enough to start the day, consisting of dumplings, baos and bread with spreads. Vending machines for coffee and tea is present, and I appreciate the hotel’s initiative for us to self clean the utensils, plates and mugs after use. Housekeeping though is only done once unless requested. Instead of key card, actual keys are used to access the rooms. The card included is for the main entrance for use when arriving late at night. Overall I still experience a comfortable stay and might consider it again.

Overall A great experience, stayed one night. Breakfast is substantial with toast, xiao long bao, coffee and Orange juice

Location is perfect for traveller. Breakfast on 6th floor with no elevator!

I was in female dormitory room the bed is quite spacious and comfortable, the room and common area are clean, here is one of the few places that offers breakfast so I’m really happy with the price on top of that the location is very convenient just opposite of the airport MRT Taipei main station

Overall is a nice hostel to stay, is very near to the station exit.

good location near exit Y13. don’t have lift but there is large communal area on 6th floor. bring your own amenities and towel because they don’t provide it

Choose to stay here because the location is very close to AirPort Express line. Room is great, stairs is good for backpackers but poor me with my big luggage, lucky they have luggage storage. Overall it was a good stay!

As a solo traveler, I chose Main Inn Hotel, Taipei for its location, and in that regard, it did not disappoint. It was easy to get around the city, and the convenience of nearby public transport made exploring seamless. However, my experience with the hotel’s service and amenities left me feeling slightly disappointed. Throughout my stay, I was not entirely sure if all requested amenities were consistently provided. Things took a turn on my last night when housekeeping did not replenish basic necessities such as fresh towels or a trash bag replacement. I had asked for the trash bag to be changed, and the hotel staff acknowledged my request. However, I also mentioned that I would not need a towel replacement since it was my final night. Despite that, the overall lack of service made the last night feel somewhat neglected. Another challenge arose during my check-out process. Since I had to leave early for my flight, I dropped my room key into the designated box at the front desk, as instructed by the hotel. There was no staff present at the time, and I assumed the check-out process was completed. However, once I arrived at my destination, I turned on my phone only to find messages from the hotel via Trip.com, asking about the room key. I promptly responded, but later, I had to clarify the situation again over a phone call with Trip.com staff. This miscommunication added unnecessary frustration to my post-trip experience. While the hotel has potential and provides a convenient stay for travelers, service consistency and clearer communication need improvement. If you are looking for a straightforward stay in Taipei without expecting exceptional service, this hotel might suffice—but keep an eye on housekeeping and check-out details. Would I stay here again? Possibly, but only if service standards improve.
