FX Hotel (Taipei Nanjing East Road) recensioner

Upon check-in, our room was changed to Deluxe Triple Room instead of the Trendy Twin Room. Maybe because I added another day for our stay, and that was probably the only room availbable wherein I didn't have to transfer rooms again the next day. There was no additional fee, so I was okay with it. The room was very spaceous, clean and comfortable. Everything inside was functioning properly. The view from our window was nice. The location was very close to the MRT station and Bus Stop. There were also convenience stores nearby. I also liked the fact that there was a park nearby. The location isn't very crowded and quite peaceful at night, which I really enjoyed. The only possible concern of most people, I think, would be that even if we were on the 12th floor of the building, we could still hear the sounds of cars on the road. Probably because the windows can be opened and not fully soundproof. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here. And I would recommend this for budget travellers.

This hotel is incredible value - it’s underpriced for the room you get, and the location is close to anything you’ll need. Very clean, and with good staff.

The hotel refused to provide towels for my booking as he said it was listed in what’s not included in the amenities (which it wasn’t) I had no choice but to go buy a towels just for the night.

The location is near the MRT station, quite convenient to travel to other places in Taipei. The space is enough to open the luggage. Overall is nice. Recommend to stay in this hotel.

the ac is broken, and lamp also broken. Lamp cant be turned off. Cant sleep well with the lamp is on

The location map is incorrect. It took me near one hour to find the hotel and finally phoned the hotel to confirm the address. Please note the address is correct but only see China Airline building. No clear sign of the hotel. In fact the hotel is on the same building but entrance is at the back. Only a sign of FX Hotel

The location is good, close to MRT. Eco-friendly room does not come with towel, you can purchase one from front desk for 200 TWD. Room without window will be dark without lights, but for the price I paid, I will still come back again.

We have stayed here several years ago and came back again. The rooms ate ok but a bit worn, especially the bed i was on and the pillow. Quite different from the last time otherwise it is a very very good value for money deal. The location and value is great for the product offering. Rooms are spacious and location is convenient. FX has stopped offering toiletries now. A little disappointing but I have noticed other ********* 3 to 4 stars hotel adopting the same practice.

The room was clean, spacious and well furnished for its class. It is only about 5 minute walk from the subway station.

Perfect location, very tidy and decent nice room, easy to get access to restaurants.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Its location and price and the amenities available to its guests make it a preferred stay for both business and leisure. However, during both of my stay, I was “greeted” by absent minded, casual and non-professional front of house staff during check in. On multiple occasions, they were multi tasking the check in process, and chatting to their colleague and also fixing up other documents from other bookings. A simple check in process took more than 5 minutes with no one else in the queue, all due to the fact that the staff had multiple agendas on their mind. However, I will continue to stay here for my next visits as its location, price, amenities are very highly desirable.

We found a little cockroach at the front door of the room and reported it to the people at the counter.. Also, it smelled bad when you walked out of your room. 

First day ok Second day didn’t wash cups. Third day, didn’t even bothered to fold our bed. They explained from 1st March no longer folding beds. Never told us and we first sleep on 3rd March.

Good location, very close to Nanjing Fuxing metro station. A few restaurants, a 7-11 store, and a drug store are nearby. The AC works well. There is a safe in the guest room. Good shower but no bath tub. The slippers are very cheap and hard to get on. The hotel offers reasonable priced lunch. Friendly staff.
