I was surprised by how nice and comfortable this boutique hotel is. I was first attracted by its affordable rate and the photos seemed nice. When I arrived the hotel reception area is spacious and the design is welcoming and relaxing. The staff members are professional, all with smiles and extremely helpful ! The room is of reasonable size, well designed and their shower is strong and reliable. The TV is a little basic but it does the job. Overall the room is very comfortable and value for money. Location is not the greatest but for this price it is acceptable. I will definitely stay here again. Staff are great !!

Location is very poor. A long walk to the nearest subway station. Breakfast wasn’t too good. Not many choices. But the evening coffee and tea and snacks was a nice touch. My room was facing the roads and it was too too too loud.

Water from exhaust fan dripping in my room. I got a nice room with tub that is nice. Friendly staff. Breakfast was not good. Overall it’s worth the price

Many eateries around the hotel. Rooms are clean, breakfast can be better. 15 mins walk to mrt station.

location not good, cup not clean everyday, they just left the cup I used on the same place without cleaning.

Good location with a lot of restaurants and night outlets. Not close the subway

The staff are so friendly and helpful 😆great service and it’s close to mrt station.they even provide instant noodles and cookies at night

I am writing this feedback in appreciation of the warm welcome that Ambience Hotel staff extended to me when I checked into the hotel in November this year. In particular, I would like to thank Kayu, who is so warm and forthcoming in her introduction to the hotel and the surrounding areas for transport and dining. Another outstanding staff member is May, who overheard me asking Kayu for an izakaya on the day I checked in. The next morning, she voluntarily provided me with a list of izakaya in the surrounding area which she has patronised before, and gave her recommendations. She also recommended me which 牛肉干 to buy and even checked out the stores for me, when I asked for help. And to the others who made my stay memorable – the male staff member who helped me track down a particular Taiwan product (面茶) and the other lady staff member who ran after me when I left for shopping and asked if I needed some bottled water and later helped me get a taxi to the station, a big thank you to you too. My apologies for not getting your names. Indeed, a hotel can only be as good as its staff, and Ambience Hotel certainly made the cut. 赞！

Repeated stay. Excellent location with many eateries nearby. Hotel staff are friendly, rooms are huge and clean. Breakfast spread could have been better but it’s not a deal breaker.

I am in love with the bathtub, you can enjoy great street view, but not sure if people could see you from the outside. There is a lot of restaurant open til late near by. Love their free parking also but a bit hard to access.

Our stay was an excellent experience. The hotel boasts a convenient location within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and bars, while maintaining a sense of safety and tranquility during the night. The hotel's design is commendable, featuring a modern and simplistic aesthetic that provides a warm and comfortable ambiance. The front desk staff exudes a friendly and welcoming demeanor, treating all guests with kindness and respect. Although breakfast options were somewhat limited, each item was delicious and satisfying.

It was a great experience at this hotel

Very friendly staff and great service. The breakfast has a small selection of Chinese and Western food, but all were very tasty. The only downside is the location, which is not very close to Taipei metro stations.
