Cavemen Hostel (Taipei Station Youth) recensioner

The hostel that I booked for 29Nov was full for 28Nov, so I chose a nearby hostel as there was a change in the original plan to come to Taipei. I read the poor reviews on this hostel and have mentally prepared for the small sleeping area, bathrooms and cleanliness. Luckily I left my luggage at the first hostel I booked and packed only a sling bag of one nite necessities. The room is small and the cubicle is really small, no space to but even a small backpack There were 6 bunk beds. I was assigned the upper bunk, there was a small drawer provided but at the bottle of the lower bunk which is not convenient for me to access. The steps to climb up the upper bunk are very vertical and challenging for me to climb especially coming down, there is only one staircase in the middle between 2 bunk beds, I literally have to swing my body to use the steps down! What is unbearable is the stench in the corridor and the pillow smell. The plus point is the spacious area near the reception for seating down and charging phone.

The room is a bit crowded and a bit noisy, there are even drunk people

Very nice hostel. Highly recommended to book 4 beds room they are more comfortable. I am very satisfied of the facilities this hostel provides: kitchen, laundry, luggage storage, big common area and the location is super nice. The staff is super friendly and kind 🤗🤗🤗

The bed was very comfortable and clean, however, for the price, I did expect more in amenities. This hostle is really intended for backpackers, so you need to bring absolutely anything that you need. Facilities are adequate but you need to bring everything else with you that you may need. The location is average but it's very close to the Taipei Main Station. Overall, not bad.

Room was clean but the bed make so much noise which make me very conscious to flip and turn at night. A lot of shower cubicles and hairdryer.

It is one of the best hostel in Tainan. It is a book shop or a library themed hostel. The location is amazing with lot of cozy coffee shops and nice bars around or really nice and good restaurants and all the tourist places around. The receptionist is very welcoming and guide you to everything. She even can recommend you the places to visit, things to do, and recommend restaurants. The terrace of the hostel is amazing. It is quiet as well as the outside area is place where you can meet other people. Basically, you can work, you can make friends, you can talk. This is just an amazing place.

They have every basic facilities that a traveler needs, so it it ok. It is clean, no bugs, no odour, nice dining rooms for chatting. But for the beds, too close to each other, would have better space, so wont disturb each others.

Location is amazing for tourists. There is a distinct odor in the hostel. Space is okay in the bedding area. The storage space is limited to a small closet, so larger items may not fit especially when many people are checked in. Check in hours are extremely inconvenient and there is no way to contact the staff during off hours. If you were unable to check in before 2200, you are screwed until 9, and they won't want to check you in(you wasted your money). The garbage in the main area is constantly oferflowing and dirt/dust lines the corner of the floor.

友人がこの宿に宿泊したことがあり、彼女から薦められ、宿泊することに決めました。 このホステルに泊まってよかったです！ ■よかった点 ・台北車站からとても近い。Z4出入口から徒歩約3分、M8出入口から徒歩約5分。 ・周囲にたくさんのお店があって便利。スターバックス、ファミリーマート、吉野家、素菜レストラン、新光三越などなど。 ・共用トイレ、シャワーが多数あり、順番を待つ必要がなかった。 ・ロビーが広くて静かで快適。 ・飲料水（熱湯、温水、冷水）のサーバーが、無料で使えた。暑い台北、水分補給がしっかりでき、ありがたかった。 ・スタッフがフレンドリー。 ■よくなかった点 ・ロビーのゴミ箱から、ゴミが溢れ出ていた。宿泊者数に対し、ゴミ箱が小さすぎる。もっと頻繁にゴミ箱のゴミを回収するべきかな。 ・ドライヤーの風力が弱くて、髪がなかなか乾かなかった。強力パワーがあるとうれしい。

看完演唱會趕不回家臨時找的住宿，老闆娘很好，入住時間最晚11點但多等我們半小時，真的很感謝，地理位置很好走路不用五分鐘就到北車了，樓下也有兩家超商還有麥當勞，很推👍
