Me and my friends recently stayed at this hotel and really impressed by the excellent service and location. The staff were friendly and even allowed us to leave our baggages before check-in and after check-out time. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and dining options especially in ximending area. However, the amenities were somewhat limited and understandable due to their enviromental rules. The cleanliness was mostly good, but I did notice a few minor issues, like some left bottle under the bed. Rooms weren't very soundproof and could hear noises from neighboring room which made it harder to relax at times. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're looking for great service and a prime location, will def come back

clean and cozy. not the biggest room but meets our needs. walk to the train station is ~10min, nearby has a lot of 7-11s and a nice traditional bfast place. 10/10

Jan 2025 review for N Hotel: Writing this review rationally and as factually as I can remember. I booked this hotel for its stellar reviews which turned out to be untrue and the stay was a huge disappointment. Let me break down my experience: Check-in and lobby: The exterior of the hotel was very shady and shabby. Our check-in process started with taking the cargo elavator because both lifts were broken down (the building is very old and run down). The hotel lobby looks great compared to the rest of the building but the downside is that it closes every day at 11pm, leaving guests to walk one whole round around the lobby to reach their rooms. The plus is that staff are generally very warm and welcoming except for one guy whom I’ll forgive because his sassy attitude was actually a bit comedic. Very small room: Honestly this was the most disappointing part of the stay. The room was insanely small compared to the pictures I saw online (same type of room booked). So small that: 1. There was no room space to open two luggages and lay them flat on the ground 2. The sink had to be outside the toilet to save space in the toilet 3. The chair at the table couldn’t be pulled out fully or it would hit the bed and we had to sit sideways on it. 4. Pretty sure the queen size bed was smaller than the usual standard queen size There was barely any space to move around at all within the room (see photos attached). Smelly room: My room happened to be beside the common toilet and every now and then there would be this smell of poop and fart that completely fills up the room. It was so bad that I was actually woken up by the bad smell in the middle of the night. This smell coupled with some stains on the carpet and the sheets was enough to make the room feel dirty. The plus is there was no insects during my stay Noisy room: I say noisy because the walls of the room were so thin I could actually hear the conversations of my next door neighbours who were thankfully relatively quiet people. I can’t imagine if we had worse neighbours. Not to mention you could hear every footstep and rustle in the corridor outside your room. The windows also open up to a concrete construction panel (see photos attached) with no view and construction noises. Service: Not sure if this is a management policy but this stay did not feel like a normal hotel at all because: 1. You had to get your room supplies by yourself if they run out (normally they would be delivered). 2. When asking the counter for extra water bottles, we were asked to go up 2 floors to refill our bottles instead. 3. Housekeeping was not a given and you had to request for it. While these are all minor things, the accumulated self-service tasks made it feel like I was in a hostel rather than a hotel. Overall, the experience was not pleasant at all and I was disappointed because I went in with some expectations from the reviews but if you went in expecting a 2-3 star hotel, you would probably be ok with it. But I would say the price paid is still kind of steep for a 3-star hotel so you might be better off somewhere else.

Clean & Comfortable. Location accessible to everywhere.

location is good as its walkable distance to 2 mtr lines, ximenting, beimen, zhongxiao a basic hotel, room is small but clean and there's a nice snack, drinks at lobby area!

The hygiene in this hotel is really awful. Me and my friend both bitten by fleas and had to see a doctor and take medicine to recover. However, the hotel's location is very convenient—just a 7-minute walk to Ximending.

Overall stay experience was great. The staff named JER was super helpful, giving us much info & tips around Taiwan.

Love this room. Not too small but just enough. The power points provided is already universal, really handy if you forgot to bring your own. The toilet and shower is separated, which is good if 2 person need to use. And the basin is outside, which I think is much more convenient. Location wise is near to XMD, about 15mins walk away, and nearby there’s lots of amnesties like FamilyMart & food shops. Would love to come back again!

The hotel is a good location 1 stop on the metro or a 10 minute from Taipei main train station. The room is good but they didn’t come and clean the room while I was there. The bed was too small with my feet hanging over the edge comfortable and the pillow was very hard as well. They offered free drinks and snacks in the foyer which is good. Not a bad place to stay. The check in time at 3:30 wasn’t ideal and is quite late compared to most hotels.

The accommodation is clean, the staff is friendly and provides good service. The location is convenient, just a short walk to Ximen Station.

Reception guy is not so friendly. he asked me show my passport for registrationbut i heard he say that showing booking reference. when i gave booking reference then he say “miss, i need your passport not booking reference. y i need your booking reference”…,

N Hotel in Taipei is a 4-star accommodation located at 3F., No.86, Section 1, Chongqing South Road, Zhongzheng District. It boasts a prime location with an excellent score of 8.7, situated within walking distance to popular areas such as Ximending and multiple MRT stations, including NTU Hospital Station and Taipei Main Station.

Then room is clean, the staff are quite nice. One point needs to be improved is those facilities and equipments closed too early. We wanna use the microwave at night but it was closed together with the front desk.
