Hotel is located very near to the train station. The room has kitchen facilities and washing machine. Service at check in reception was however lacking. Staff needs to be trained.

Great stay. Spacious and clean room with laundry facilities and sufficiently equipped kitchen. Distilled water, basic seasonings, detergents and laundry wash provided. Free parking and very close to Takayama station. Walking distance to most restaurants, supermarket and tourist attraction.

Hotel is right beside the Highway/Local Bus Station & Takayama Train Station. Most attractions are within walking distance. The hotel room is spacious, it has a kitchen with the essential appliances, medium size fridge (not those small bar fridge in most hotels), microwave oven, electric cooker, washing machine with dryer. Their check-out time at 11am compared to 10am check-out required by most hotels in Japan. Highly recommended to stay here when visiting Takayama, especially when travellers using Takayama as a base to explore Shirakawa-go, Tayoma, Narai-Juru, etc.

Good price, big room with kitchen and washer. Price is same as other hotel nearby but facilities are more than others. For who drive to the hotel, parking is in the back of the building. 600 yen per night

Situated just beside the Takayama Station, the location is very convenient. The room itself is equipped with a washer and dryer. We could do laundry daily during our 4 night stay. It’s a pity there is no onsen at this hotel, also there is a limit to the amount of hot water supplied so this is something to be aware of in the event that you run out of hot water for shower.

Residence Hotel is one the best hotels we've stayed in starting from the welcoming staff, especially Kato, who went above and beyond to make our stay a comfortable & an forgettable one. Our room was simply amazing, with beautiful views. The location was so convenient, right next to Takayama Station and Nohi Bus Terminal. There's a washing machine to do your laundry. We would definitely stay here again and will highly recommend family and friends to stay here when in Takayama. Arigato Gozamaisu Kato and staff, we hope to return one day in the future!!

One of the best stay we had during our trip in japan it's apartment style so there's washing machine in the room. bed is comfortable, we had the best sleep here out of all the hotels we had stayed .

We were greeted with warm welcome. Staff is friendly and hotel is clean with all the needed services. It’s also a stone away from the bus interchange which makes the travel so much easier especially when you came back from the other sight seeing activities . We would be back to this hotel when we come back again.

The hotel is a bit old but clean. Room is big with great location, next to Nohi Bus Center and JR station. The hotel doesn’t have shower cap provided.
