The service was spectacular. They greet you and ease you into the Ryuken experience with charm and attention to details. The room was great, the hotel was pleasant, the staff were amazing from start to finish. Always looking for ways to make our stay more pleasant.

Fabulous stay at Iroriyado Hidaya a traditional Japanese Ryokan. This was our forst experience staying at a traditional Japanese inn. The hostess was terrific explaining how all aspects of our stay would work. The futons were super comfortable to sleep on and it has a terrific bath house. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

From the moment we stepped foot into this charming ryokan, we were immersed in an authentic Japanese experience that left us in awe. The traditional rooms were exquisitely designed, capturing the essence of Japanese culture with tatami floors and sliding doors. The attention to detail was impeccable, creating an ambiance of tranquility that made us feel like we were stepping back in time. The origami lessons offered at the ryokan were a delightful touch. Learning to craft these intricate paper creations was not only a creative outlet but also a fun way to connect with the local culture. You can also enjoy a traditional japanese dressing experience at no cost. A highlight of our stay was the exceptional evenning snack experience. The fresh caught fish cooked in a coal stove was an absolute treat for the senses. The flavors were unlike anything we had ever tasted before, and the skillful preparation was a testament to the culinary expertise of the staff. In addition, we found ourselves sipping on the complimentary green tea, which added a refreshing touch to our day. The gesture truly made us feel at home. And how could I forget the onsen? The soothing thermal baths provided a moment of relaxation like no other. The serene atmosphere combined with the therapeutic properties of the hot spring water was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration. Iroriyado Hidaya Ryokan exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The combination of traditional charm, attentive staff, and authentic experiences made our stay truly unforgettable. È stata una esperienza magnifica, il posto è veramente stupendo, sembra di essere catapultati nel mondo degli anime dove i nostri personaggi preferiti vivevano le loro vite. Il posto è curato e pulitissimo, ci hanno accolto in modo spontaneo e gentilissimo, parlano benissimo inglese e ci hanno accolto spiegandoci tutto quello che possiamo trovare a Takayama, dai negozi ai ristoranti e i posti da visitare. È possibile noleggiare gratuitamente dei stupendi Yukata direttamente qui, ci hanno gentilmente aiutato a indossarli e li abbiamo tenuti per cena. È possibile utilizzare una vera Onsen all’interno della struttura fino a tardi, anche se hai dei tatuaggi. Infine è possibile fare la colazione tradizionale giapponese e noi ne siamo stati più che lieti, abbiamo assaggiato tantissimi piatti, alcuni anche cotti di fronte a noi sul momento. Ringraziamo di cuore dell’ospitalità e la cordialità. Torneremo sicuramente, è un posto che ci rimarrà nel cuore.

Fabuloso ryokan a las afueras de la ciudad donde pasar unos días tranquilos. La atención es muy calida y te hacen sentir como en casa. Sin duda un lugar recomendable!

Commençons par me négatif : le ryokan est excentré et son environnement n'est pas très sexy. Il faudra prendre un taxi pour rejoindre le centre ville (compter 1000 yens par trajet). Corrolaire : comme le dîner sur place n'est pas proposé, peu de choses autour, il faut retourner en ville. Pour le reste, c'est un ravissement : intérieur magnifique, plein de détails, qui fait parfaitement traditionnel. Chambre très confortable. Douche commune avec bain magnifique (séparée hommes/femmes, non privatisable), personnel aux petits soin, excellent petit déjeuner, copieux et au choix japonais ou occidental, avec une petite partie en buffet, prêt de yukata compris. Un ravissement, toute la famille à adoré l'expérience !
