Olare Mara Kempinski Masai Mara

From getting picked up at the airstrip through game drives and meals this was an incredible experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I eat vegan and the meals were wonderful. The staff are flexible; e.g. We wanted an early game drive and they prepared a breakfast we took with us. This was my second time here and my wife's third do that speaks volumes. We had 3 game drives and saw 40 species, all the cats, cubs, birds, crocodile, jackals,etc. Could not have been better.

Best experience ever! Beautiful well appointed luxury tents, excellent sieves and amenities and extremely helpful knowledge staff all round with including the drivers, guides, waiters, chefs and room stewards and guards. Thank you for making our stay memorable. From the flights to and from Mara, arranging the best memorable ballon safari, Maasai cultural experience and much more. Best game viewing and wildlife experience in a long time in the savanna grasslands of magical Kenya’s Maasai Mara.

We had an amazing time at Olare Mara Kempinksi. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Masai Mara to stay here. We stayed for 3 days and the whole time we had such a nice time! The staff is very warm and hospitable and takes care of your every need. Special shoutouts to - Dominic for running an amazing property and taking care of us. Danson who was our guide for game drives made sure we didn’t miss out on any of the amazing sights the conservancy had to offfer. Hezron for taking care of us during all our meals and making sure we have amazing setups for all our meals be it on a riverside or on our deck! My stay at Olare Mara Kempinski was not just a stay, it was a whole experience. From the moment I arrived and received my Safari Passport (which was sooo informative!), everything felt thoughtful and special. The dining experience, the rooms, the food… oh my! This is officially my new favorite place in the Maasai Mara. One of the biggest highlights of my stay was the sundowner, absolutely jaw-dropping. The setup, the ambiance, the view… it was pure magic. And something that truly touched my heart was the opportunity to plant a tree. As someone who loves people and places that take care of the environment, that moment meant so much to me. And the staff… where do I even begin? Linet, the sweet soul who assisted me with the tree planting, she’s amazing. Kelvin, our restaurant server, just the best. John and the rest of the team, I can’t mention everyone, but they made our trip unforgettable. Eric, our guide, super knowledgeable! He shared so many stories, including the one about Red the lion, which I absolutely loved. And last but not least, Dominic, the manager, not just a boss, but a true leader. He made sure every guest was having a good time. If there was a ten-star rating, they deserve all ten. Don’t even think twice, book with them, and you will thank me later.

We had such a special time here! The morning and late afternoon wildlife drives with Eric were a once-in-a-lifetime experience, both from a learning and just pure awe standpoint. The dining room staff is very kind and the food is excellent - produce is grown on site as much as possible, and mornings include several choices of freshly squeezed juices using homegrown or local fruits. The security staff escorts you in the early morning and evening to protect from large animals. Laundry was provided same-day during our stay. And the staff includes some special surprises here and there that just made this trip even more memorable. Your tent “room” is huge, as pictured. Hot water is provided through solar and a back-up generator, so you will always have it (which is generally not a guarantee while traveling in the area). I would encourage you to read about community tourism before visiting to give your experience more depth.
