Eva Lanka Hotel - Beach & Wellness

We had a fantastic family stay at EvaLanka Hotel near Tangalle! The accommodation was excellent—clean and comfortable, with fresh towels provided daily. The staff was incredibly friendly and always available to help, offering 24/7 support. The on-site massage was a great experience, and the swimming pools, filled with seawater, were cleaned daily. We also noticed a big improvement in the breakfast compared to last year—much better quality and variety. One of the best things about this hotel is its stunning, expansive green territory, which is beautifully maintained. We loved spotting parrots, monkeys, peacocks, and other local wildlife around the property. And the almost-private beach right in front of the hotel made our stay even more special. A couple of things to keep in mind: while the hotel is generally accessible, the property is on a hill, which might create some limitations for guests with reduced mobility. Also, the internet quality has improved compared to last year but still has room for improvement. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend EvaLanka for a relaxing getaway!

The hotel was spread out with several chalets and provided guests with one of the most spectacular views you will see in coastal Sr Lanka. This is not the most luxurious hotel in the country, but it deserves its 4-star rating. We thought it provided excellent value for money.

We have spent over 1 month here with my family, my 20 year old and my 4 months old babies. Great value for money! The Italian owners and the staff have been incredibly accommodating with the weirdest requests we had, always available, professional al and kind. The structure is perfect for a family also with young kids like mine. It’s very clean and safe. We met amazing people during our stay, from many different countries and different backgrounds (families with children, nomadic workers, retired couples, teenagers, young adults…). It was very enriching. The location is incredible, just above a fantastic paradise beach, still undiscovered by the main tourism and one of the only ones in the area in which is safe to swim in (there are no dangerous currents). You can see turtles and beautiful fish if the visibility is good. We had the chance to do excursions that were really well organised, and they also arranged to find a very good babysitter for our 4 months old. Ayurveda massages are great and the therapists and the doctor helped us a lot with a few health issues we had during our stay. I would definitely recommend it and I am looking forward to come back in the near future!
