Shahin Tower

It looks like a very old hotel. Yes it should be old. Very simple. No amenities. Hair dryer is available but I think that is all. They have free wi-fi but I couldn't find a signal in my room although it is much stronger on the ground floor AC might not be working well as some other travel buddies mentioned. I personally didn't lower the temperature while sleeping,,, so I didn't realize if AC was working or not but it is not modern AC.  The location is good as you can enjoy the view of the ocean. You can go up to the top floor. I enjoyed the view from there. I wish the window could be open, though. There must have been a restaurant on the top floor but it is not used currently. Breakfast was served at 0800 for our group but I am not sure what time they really started to serve it. The menu is also simple. Very typical breakfast in Syria.  I had coffee, I think their coffee was the strongest among the ones I tried in Syria I don't think there are enough sockets to recharge in each room. I actually couldn't find any even in the bathroom. I had to plug out 2 of the sockets being used as I needed to recharge my phone and camera. It is very inconvenient honestly. How come there is no socket to recharge !? Although it is old, I think this hotel should have higher quality compared to other hotels in Syria.
