850 Cameron Motel

Welcoming from person at front desk. Milk provided and was lovely organic. Room was a smaller room. Clean and tidy. The TV remote worked and easy to use and had all the Sky channels. Can connect to stream your own device but I didn't do that. Location is very good. Opposite the hospital and within easy walking and driving distance of eateries and supermarket. Was very quiet at night and bed and pillow were super comfy. There was an aircon unit available. Value for money and would recommend and I would stay again for sure!

This place is clean and quiet located near the hospital in this small city. You would need a car to get to the local sites, restaurants, beach, etc. The beds, air con and shower/ bathroom were excellent. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Parking is close to your room.

Awesome room, super clean and very comfortable beds. Super fresh and tasty bottle of milk provided upon arrival, perfect for the various assortment of goodies provided in the room such as hot chocolate and coffee. The bathrooms had very big towels along with very nice and luxurious body wash and shampoo and conditioner. Overall a great stay, will be back!

What a lovely spot. The rooms are spotless, the check in process is smooth. It makes for an easy choice for any travelers on a short or long stay. The attention to detail from the staff is remarkable, even down to the folding of our laundry. Would recommend to anyone!

A beautiful hotel room. Spotless and well designed. An elevator for second floor helps with heavy luggage . The innkeepers are delightful, attentive and concerned. Great cafe on the property. Excellent location, too.

OMG alright. What an absolutely fabulous motel run by a great couple. On arrival we were warmly greeted and offered bottled milk, none of those plastic cups here! and escorted to our room where all the facilities were clearly explained. My wife is in a wheelchair so we had an accessibilty room (room 3) which was perfect. The bed is a super comfy king size with exceptional quality sheets. There is a large tv with Sky, Netflix to view along with free ultrafast wifi, so if you are a technophobe you should be in your element! A well equipped kitchenette with all the amenities that you can think of completes the room. The bathroom is well laid out and the owners provide soap,shampoo, conditioner, flannels and lovely fluffy towels. We stayed here as we had to attend a family funeral at 11am the next day. Because of this we decided to check out at the latest time of 10am... and then the wheels fell off. On arriving at our car my wife became violently ill and to cut a long story short the owners and one of their staff (I wish I asked her name because she is absolutely fabulous) without hesitation offered our room back to us so that we could clean up. This despite the fact that we are now past checkout time and holding up production so to speak. The owners had no idea that we was there to attend a funeral until later and so we know that this was no sympathy action but a genuine case of helping someone in need. It is not so much what they did, but how it was done that is so very much appreciated. Unfortunately we missed the funeral. Definitely our go to accommodation when returning to Tauranga and highly recommended to anyone.

Very impressed with my stay. All experiences from check in to check out efficient. Fast wifi. Great amenities. Comfy bed. Good water pressure. Cannot fault anything. Free parking on site. Definitely recommend and will look to book again.

Myself and my children travelled through the North and South Island , staying at some well known and respected hotels , but this place was hands down the best . I don’t normally write reviews and true to form I’m a bit late in posting , but better late than never eh ! High on the list was value for money , beds were som comfortable even the pillows are first class.The rooms are very well appointed modern super clean and light filled . They have the ability for you to watch Netflix or what ever streaming service you have . It was close to everything quiet and safe nabourhood , Tony & Tina run the place and you couldn’t find nicer people they. Looked after us like we were family . So give this place a go you won’t be sorry

Amazing hotel and facilities. The owners went above and beyond all my expectations to make my stay as comfortable as possible at a very stressful time. Have recommended them to all our friends. The facilities were immaculate and very comfortable. No request was too much. Would recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in Tauranga...the Best!
