Aroha Taveuni Beachfront Bures

I felt like I was in a little bit of Paradise at Aroha. Not only beachfront for those glorious sunsets, but the Bures we stayed in were beautifully done. Everything covered when these were built. The staff were super friendly and helpful, Fijian culture at its best. The restaurant was lovely. Location was just perfect and lots of tours if you want to do them or just relax in the pool or on the sunloungers. Kathryn and Rod have recently taken this business over. They are perfect, both are genuinely interactive with their guests. You get that personal feel. I would come back and stay here again in a heartbeat.

It takes some effort to get here but so worth it. More remote than expected but now that we are here it's incredible. Cool coral reef just a few feet off the beach for snorkeling. Rooms are very comfortable and I love the outdoor shower. Rod and Catherine the owners couldn't be nicer hosts. Wood fired pizza oven at the restaurant. Absolutely can't go wrong here and very reasonable prices.

This was our second time visiting the Aroha. The new owners, Rod and Kathryn, are so gracious and are amazing hosts! They are so respectful and helpful to their fantastic staff. I cant begin to say how lovely and wonderful the staff members are. They treat us like esteemed family members and go out of their way to make sure every aspect of the stay is perfect. The rooms are just beautiful with the ocean just steps away for swimming and snorkeling. The infinity pool makes for a heavenly and relaxing afternoon of laziness. The grounds of the resort are simply immaculate and beautifully landscaped. There are fresh flower arrangements from their gardens every day. They can arrange many fun excursions to the local sites. Highlights are the lovely and unique Civa pearl farm ( I got a pearl to remember on each of our trips), the Lavena coast and waterfall walk, diving and snorkel trips, birdwatching trips and much more. The restaurant, KaiTime, is far and away the best on the island! (We learned that the hard way the first trip when we ate some other places and we were sorry) We ate there exclusively for over a week with no repeats. The daily specials are so creative, diverse and everything is always beautifully presented. The only bad thing about Aroha is having to say goodbye……. It is always so sad to leave this heavenly spot!

Absolutely Stunning - a group of 5 ladies - we booked 3 Bures - we were delighted by our choice - Bures are beautiful, clean, large , And designed for Beachfront Fijian living- well appointed - air cons and fans - overlooking the beach , gorgeous views - So enjoyed the infinity pool overlooking the islands - and Day beds for sunbathing - the restaurant was excellent and loved our breakfast by the beach - Staff were very friendly and helpful - We loved our choice and have already booked the resort for next year - a very precious Island Hideaway in Paradise -

Of all the places we stayed in Fiji, this was our favorite -- both the resort itself, and the island of Taveuni. It's not a full-blown resort, as there are only 5 guest rooms, but this gives it a distinctly home-y and intimate feel. A great place to relax if you want to be away from the crowds. The attached restaurant has a great chef, who had a new list of specials every night, and the whole staff was super-friendly (and not in "i have to be friendly as part of my job" way, but genuinely friendly).

A wonderful quiet place. Fantastic to relax or to go for hicking, diving or just going around. Excellent restaurant. No need to look for another one. Chef Krish is really great. From local dishes to more indian ones all is tasty as you can wish. If you want non spicy at all he will cook as Such. Lo and all team are very helpful. They help when you need.
