Just spent a return weekend in the Hunt Club (Carriage House). The room is spacious, thoughtfully decorated, and has a lovely private patio. I always enjoy a stay at this wonderful Inn which feels like coming home. Thank you Joe, Myrna and Debbie.

Genuinely one of the quaintest and BY FAR one of the cleanest stays of all our travels - the place is immaculate. Extremely appreciative of the hospitality and care provided. Joe and Myrna have thought of everything! Will definitely be back!

I have stayed at the Market Street Inn countless times, and it never fails to deliver a peaceful, joyful experience. Joe and Myrna Hauser have created a beautiful, gracious inn complete with warm hospitality, beautiful antique furnishings, delicious homemade breakfast, and rocking chairs on the porch. There aren't enough superlatives to describe how a weekend at the Market Street Inn restores my soul!

We stayed at the Market Street Inn for 1 night in November. The Inn is beautiful and complete with high ceilings and gorgeous woodwork. We stayed in the Lilac room which was generous in space, the bed comfortable. The bathroom has a spa tub and shower combo complete with a blow dryer, shampoo and conditioner. The couple who own the inn are lovely, gracious, and vey friendly. The breakfast was g complete with a fruit plate, toast, and eggs made to order. Plenty of nice juice options too. We have already considered staying again. From what I have seen, this is the best place to stay in Taylorville, Illinois.

I loved, loved, loved my 4 day stay at the Market Street Inn in Taylorville, Illinois. The owners Joe and Myrna are the kindest, most considerate proprietors ever. A delicious breakfast awaited me every morning with candlelight. My room had a fireplace. The antiques and warm atmosphere says it all It had the most comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. The front and side porches invite you with rocking chairs. I very highly recommend the Market Street Inn. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. They get a 5 star review from me.

We stayed at The Market Street Inn last weekend for my son’s wedding weekend. The inn was conveniently across the street from the venue, The Pillars, and we had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The inn is beautiful and Joe and Myrna made our family feel comfortable and relaxed. Thank you for a great experience!

We traveled to Taylorville, Illinois for business. The Market Street Inn was recommended to us by our business partners. What a TREAT! You do not want to miss the opportunity to stay in Joe and Myrna’s beautiful home. They are the kindest people and accommodated our every need. The room was spacious and we enjoyed having the private bath. The bed was most comfortable. Staying in a B&B was a first for both my husband and me. We loved visiting with Joe and Myrna, as well as the other guests. The breakfast each morning was superb! I think the bar may have been set very high for our first experience at a B&B!

Just returned from a lovely visit to the Market Street Inn -- it's my go-to place to stay when visiting family in Taylorville. The Innkeepers are always welcoming and thoughtful, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast room is beautiful.

The Market Street Inn Bed and Breakfast is a lovely Victorian home in a quiet area of Taylorville, IL. I spent three nights there. The bedrooms are spacious. Two parlors for visiting or reading are available. Breakfast is delicious. Myrna and Joe are very knowledgeable on the history of the area and activities you can do. The lovely wrap around porch and table are great for a happy hour. It's absolutely the best offering in this town. Also close to shopping and restaurants.
