Great property with awesome views. Centrally located

來了才知道，這個酒店是當地人的療養聖地，遇到個本地長者，他就住在附近經常來游泳和桑拿，這裏最出名的就是桑拿和露天暖水池。 這裏泳池分室內室外，可以從自動玻璃門游到室外，外面是暖水池，可以瞭望整個泰根湖，非常享受。 桑拿也有好幾間，最有名的頂樓的那件，德國桑拿是男女一起的，進去不能穿任何東西，毛巾就鋪在板凳上。桑拿後就可以在休息lounge ，玻璃房，泰根湖一覽無餘，在躺椅上睡一覺很暇意。 酒店在半山腰，在酒店餐廳和酒吧來一杯並眺望泰根湖，我突然覺得在洱海的感覺。 另外酒店停車免費。

Visited twice and stay at a room in Quirin house 1. Very modern Interior 2. Nice spa 3. Hotel with different styles of house ( my favorite is Qurin) All has good taste 4. Kind staff ( who offered a bottle of water by check out to have in on the journey back to home) 5. Break fast was amazing 6. Recommend to rent e bike 7. Recommend to have Lunch at hotel after check in

We made a reservation for our group under our name at Das Tegernsee on January 6, 2024, for a stay in July 2024. We initially planned for 11 couples, but only 6 couples attended. We booked the Das Tegernsee package, which included two nights, parking, one massage per person, breakfast, and we upgraded everyone to a five-course dinner instead of a three course dinner for both nights. Given our previous stay at the hotel we expected a seamless and memorable experience. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by several issues. Firstly, half of our rooms were on the ground floor, which was not what we expected or requested. With six months of advanced notice, we anticipated that the hotel would arrange for higher-floor rooms with better views, especially since all rooms booked were of the same category and in the same area. The event planners, Stefanie and Malena, did not check in with us prior to our arrival to confirm anything, leading to a lack of preparedness that became evident throughout our stay. The coordination of massage times was poorly handled. We were not allowed to book our massages until a week or so out from our reservation, which made no sense instead of blocking times for our party in advance. We had hoped for a relaxing experience where couples could enjoy their massages together or at similar times. Instead, the schedules were haphazard, and one couple was told they did not have massages scheduled at all. This was despite having confirmed their appointments via email and with front desk staff. Das Tegernsee sent out emails to the couples relating to their massages and stated that additional spa services were available. When one of the couples reached out to add a facial, the hotel said the service was not possible, even though they were the ones offering/upselling spa services. To make matters worse, the staff was rude to this couple, telling them that the massage time issues were their fault since they never confirmed the appointment and that they should not take the massage and leave. However, the couple had the confirmation email of their massage, and Sara from the front desk walked with them to the massage/spa area to confirm the massages. there is an obvious disconnect between the masseuses/spa and the rest of the hotel. Additionally, the hotel offered a 6 PM massage to one couple, which directly conflicted with our group's 6:30 PM dinner reservation at Das Tegernsee’s restaurant. Furthermore, our entire party was informed that parking was not included, even though the Das Tegernsee package clearly stated that parking was part of the package. This added another layer of frustration to our stay. This trip was particularly significant as it was a wedding celebration uniting two families. I had previously visited this hotel as a couple, and the experience was great, which is why I recommended it to our group. I genuinely liked Das Tegernsee, but the issues are too much to overlook. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed! The town is amazing, and this classic hotel on the hilltop is the perfect place to stay. The breakfast, pool, spa, rooms, and service were all perfect.

I made reservations for a block of of 11 rooms on January 6, 2024. That block of rooms went down to 6 rooms and Das Tegernsee had issues accommodating my group of 6 for a special moment. I normally would not have issues with most items I am listing, but I think 6 months advanced notice is plenty of time to figure out the logistics of accommodating 6 couples, especially for a German hotel. First, the hotel paired some of the couples at different times for their massage instead of close together or at the same time. Second, they tried to accommodate one of the couples by offering a 6PM massage when it directly conflicts with a 6:30PM dinner booked at Das Tegernsee’s restaurant for the group through the hotel. This might be picky but If a hotel is given 1/2 a year notice, and all rooms that are booked are the same category level and in the same area, then it makes sense to block rooms at a higher floor where the views are nicer and not the first floor. Again, this comes from the perspective of someone that booked far in advanced, is a repeat customer, and has booked a luxury/premium hotel in a country where planning and punctuality is held to a high standard. If I knew Das Tegernsee would fall short as they certainly have, I would have booked at Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt where I know they can handle a party of 12 properly.

It goes without saying that the entire experience is always above and beyond in atmosphere, in service, in quality of spa experiences, food and drinks, and how welcoming all of the staff are! It feels like heaven on earth each time we visit! It is almost as if we are the only guests at the hotel and the staff can anticipate what we need, offering something to drink, providing backpack and hiking sticks, offering local information, and simply connecting with guests. We have received handwritten notes in our room welcoming us, as well as congratulations when celebrating a special occasion This is a 10 star experience and one we will always come back to! Adding to all of the experiences in the spa, rooms, staff, food, etc., are the stunning views and location of Das Tegernsee- unmatched!
