The Bugyal

I've visited The Bugyal twice with my family in the month of June. A beautiful place surrounded by lush greenery and dense forests, the calm and refreshing weather adds to its charm. It’s a place where nature heals, and every view feels like a painting brought to life. I would love to return here every chance I get.

First the qualifier - This is my first ever review on any social media. And reason I had to come out and write about this place is the mesmerising beauty of The Bugyal (though one selfish part of me says that it should remain less explored to remain this pristine) The place is just heavenly, amidst the lap of nature, with a view of the magnificent Himalayas. Congratulations Sanjiv Ji for maintaining such beautiful balance with nature. If one is looking a place for pure blissful nature, meditation get away, fresh air, positive energy, pure vegetarian food, relax and rejuvenate, this is the one. The approach is through a trek but the jeeps are promptly made available by the property. For us, as we wanted to start back early, the driver stayed overnight in the property so he could be available at the designated time. Deepa Ji , Vikrant ji and the local boys who support this property are very courteous, helpful, hospitable and attentive. We were a small group of friends and family and we all felt that time should stand still so we could just be there for some more

The property is well maintained & clean..Staff is so supportive & helpful..Food is awesome.. Best place for serene experience..Hidden gem in Kanatal..I highly recommend this place for people who love peaceful environment..Families & friends can have best time of their life here.

The place is too good to spent the quality time with friend for peace of mind with the beautiful and friendly environment. The air to inhale without pollution and fresh air Rooms are neat and clean with healthy food Helpful staff with good management

I'm writing this review to help others to explore a very peaceful and offbeat stay at beautiful Kanatal. Ww reach there from Gurgaon from our car and the roads are very smooth and you can enjoy the nature at its best . We reach there around 3.00PM, and park our car on the main road parking provided by The Bugyal only and from there adventure started, they took us and our luggage by the 4×4 safari jeep, as the location of the resort is on the mountain and it's way is totally ofroad and we lovvvvved it 😀. Everyone in the resort was so warm and helpful. From our tent the view of Kedarnath range was breathtaking. It's a 180° view and we were lucky to have a clear sky almost all 4 days . The tent was so comfortable and warm, as the night temperature was - 7 °. The kitchen staff was so good they provided us with the best and tastiest food during our stay. We were alone at the property during our time of stay but they cater us with the best. We explore Surkanda Devi temple first day. I will definitely recommended it as the view from the temple is 370° and it's mesmerizing. Next day we went to explore Tihri lake and this place is also a *** made marvel. If you are into water sports you can definitely go for paraselling. We had our 7 years old son with us so we opted for speed boating and made some cool videos too. In Kanatal there is a forest safari too. Kaudiya forest safari and you can opt for forest walk too. If you are looking for a late back trip and not in hurry go for it . You can spend 2-3 days by just gazing the mountain view and watching the mountains changing it's colours with every angle of the sunrays. We travel with our 7 years old son so we do things as per his comfort, but if you are traveling alone without kids you can explore more.

This hotel situated in the offbeat valley of Kanatal, Uttarakhand had one of the best views of the mountains and nature..the food was great, 100% veg 👍🏻 and rooms were spacious and very clean…best time to visit is in the winters…loved the vibe of this place…thank you for your hospitality.
