Caldera Cave Hotel & Restaurant recensioner

We were a group of 5 people We spent three days in this hotel. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The view was extraordinary. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the "SENZA" restaurant which is connected to the hotel Good food and efficient service Thanks to Gokan and Mustafa and all the staff

I'll start with the good.The hotel was clean and the view was lovely. I can't remember the name of the young man who we dealt with at registration, but he was lovely. Things went pretty much downhill after that. The breakfast was really not great in my opion. Lots of food, but apart from the lovely bread and jams, and the the omelate the rest was not great. The cheeses served were almost inedible due to their high salt content ( and I love salt) the pastries looked like they'd been baked buy a 10 year old and the sausage was very greasy. The wifi is only 2g so it was almost impossible to do downloads or recieve calls, even when using our hot spot data. The worst thing was the noise level. The people staying next to our rpom had the t.v/ radio up at full volume 24/7, my husband could nt sleep, and me ( who has slept through hurricanes and tornado sirens) even with ear plugs and a pillow over my head could nt sleep.We could nt rest day or night...we are exhausted. Then on check out, the ever unhelpful Mustafa took over an hour to check out my husband..so we missed our scheduled tour. Also if you're driving, as we were, even at this early time of the year, parking is horrendous. I can only imagine how difficult it would be during the 'high' season. The views from the hotel are amazing, but these are public spaces so anybody can wander by. There are a couple of noisey dogs ( but that's about every where in Cappadicia) Our first evening they 'chased' us from a distance, but all we had to do was turn and hush them and they left. The next night no problem at all.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in July 2023. The location of the hotel is unbeatable in the upper part of Uchisar at the foot of the castle. The rooms are correct, although the lighting is poor. If you are lucky enough to have a room with a small terrace, the views are unbeatable. The breakfast is excellent, very varied and of the best quality. The hotel service is really good since Berfin and Vahap are always attentive to any request to satisfy it effectively, including possible activities to carry out. Another point in favor of the hotel is the Senza Restaurant that occupies the upper part of the building including a terrace with incredible views. The restaurant menu is varied and of high quality. In short, this is a hotel with a very good value for money.

It’s a wonderful place., very central with amazing views. The staff is very helpful thoughtful and kind. Strongly recommend to any traveller visiting Capadócia, also the food from the restaurant is amazing, great chef.

Caldera Hotel was a dream. I booked a suprise getaway for my husbands 30th Birthday and it was the most amazing experience. As we booked through a travel agent, I didn't know what type of room I had booked so I emailed Caldera Hotel a few days before arriving to ask what type of room we had as I wanted to make sure it was special for my husbands birthday - amazingly, I received an email by return upgrading our room to have the most beautiful view we could of ever imagined. We stayed in room 402 and we woke up in the mornings to the view of hot air balloons gracefully floating past the Uchisar Castle. It was absolutely magical watching the sunrise on the balcony with a coffee, the balloons in the background glowing up the sky each time the flames ignited. We could even watch from bed if we didn't want to get up. The customer service was brilliant, especially from the night receptionist, Vahap, who helped us tremendously when my husband needed to get to a hospital for medical attention at 6am. He called a taxi, explained the problem and asked the taxi drive to then speak with the hospital to explain everything- we really appreciated everything so much. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and very extensive. Vahap and Barfin gave great service each morning making every morning start great. We never finished a breakfast in our 5 days although we did give it a very good try!! You certainly won't go hungry. The restaurant next door, Senza, is also a part of Calder Hotel and we had dinner here on our last night. The food was delicious with large portion sizes. Reasonably priced and definitely worth a visit. The views from the restaurant are beautiful with sunset lighting up the castle. The location of the Hotel is fantastic- Uchisar is a small town with everything perfectly compact. The hotel is less than 2 minutes away and the streets are filled with restaurants, markets, gift shops, wine shops - all overlooking the beautiful Uchisar Valley & Castle. Goreme is only a 10 minute taxi drive away costing approximately 80-90 Turkish Lira. It was the perfect getaway and I would absolutely recommend Caldera Hotel. It is a very special place that will stay in my heart.

A beautiful boutique hotel with a comfortable clean and nicely decorated room, stunning location and view, amazing food and wonderful staff! Highly recommended to anyone considering a trip to Cappadocia. We can't wait to come back again!

Muhteşem Capadokya manzarası eşliğinde harika bir otel. Sabah havalanan balonlar ile güne başlayıp enfes bir kahvaltıyla devam ediyorsunuz. Senza restoranın keyifli ortamında leziz yemekler yedik. İşletme sahibi Gökhan beye ve tüm çalışan arkadaşlara teşekkür ederiz ❤️

Caldera otel için konumu ve hizmeti olarak üçhisar bölgesinin en iyi oteli demek yanlış olmaz sanırım. Odaları konfor ve temizlik açısından son derece iyi. Kahvaltıda hemen hemen isteyebileceğiniz herşey mevcut. Çalışanları son derece güleryüzlü ve sıcak kanlı. Üçhisarda otel seçenekleri arasında açık ara en iyisi.

Наилучшие рекомендации отелю и персоналу. Номер атмосферный, просторный с небольшим кусочком 1/4 +/- настоящей пещеры в секторе спальни. Хорошие завтраки. Место тихое , вокруг нет дискотек и анимаций! Отличное расположение, с видом на крепость Учхасар.

Konumu mükemmel. Kaleye ve vadiye hakim balkondan her yer ayaklarınızın altında. Otel içi hizmet ilgi alaka çok iyi. Resepsiyonla ilgilenen Vahap kardeşime çok teşekkürler. Odalar kahvaltı vs her yere yetişiyor. Oluşan en ufak bi aksiliği fazlasıyla telafi etmek için ellerinden geleni yapıyorlar. Odaya 1 yıldız verdiğime bakmayın. Mağara oda da kaldık o yüzden de nem rutubet olayı bizi çok baydı. Otantik vs derken gerçekten çok sıkıntı yarattı. Her yer ıslanmış şekilde konaklıyorsunuz. Seçerken böyle bi durum olduğunu bilebilseydik asla seçmezdik. Bu otel özelinde değil hangi otel hangi şehir olursa olsun asla mağara odada kalınmamalı.

Suite panoramique très belle, spacieuse avec une vue superbe sur le rocher d’Uchisar. Petit déjeuner très copieux et excellent. Accueil très sympathique. Merci d’avoir pris nos valises en arrivant comme au départ. Le restaurant de l’hôtel propose d’excellents repas d’un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le personnel est très gentil et agréable. L’hôtel est très bien placé pour visiter les sites alentours.

Ubicado a los pies del Castillo de Uchisar con unas vistas increiblemente bellas. Habitaciones excabadas en la roca de buen tamaño con bastante olor a humedad. Mobiliario e iluminación pobre. A la limpieza de las habitaciones y terrazas le falta profundidad. Desayuno muy surtido de la mejor calidad y elaboración al momento por una profesional de la cocina. El restaurante del hotel, Senza, sirve las mejores comidas que he degustado en mi viaje a Turquía. Las vistas desde el mismo son casi tan buenas como las comidas. Lo mejor que tiene esta hotel es su personal. Berfin nos ha atendido con profesionalidad y ha demostrado una calidad humana excepcional. Vahap ha sido muy amable y atento. El hotel es excelente en la relación costo beneficio.

Nos encantó nuestra estadía en Caldera Hotel. Especialmente la amabilidad del staff, siempre respondieron a todas nuestras dudas y nos ayudaron a coordinar nuestro viaje en globo, transfers, etc. Recomendamos mucho el Hotel. Además tienes acceso a una vista espectacular del Castillo ☺️
