Brown TLV Urban Hotel a Member of Brown Hotels

We received a complimentary night from Brown hotels after they messed up our booking a few months ago. The experience of using the voucher they gave us was unpleasant. When we called the number on the voucher to book a night they couldn’t find the voucher on their system and instead of taking care of it themselves, they had us run around writing emails trying to get a response within their company. The representative I spoke to on the phone, Daniel spoke to me slowly like you speak to a small child, unprofessional and not fun. After we managed to book a room using the voucher, we arrived at the hotel to find a run down not clean room. The shower had used shampoo bottles in it and the room smelled damp and stinky. We stay in TelAviv overnight quite frequently, Brown Hotels has a competitor (or two) that have better hotels and have terrific service. We especially like Atlas hotels and have had much better experiences with them.

The staff are very friendly and speak enough English to make checking in and out easy. The hotel is in an excellent location, like a 10 minute walk from the beach with loads of bars and restaurants nearby. There is a lift to get to the upper floors. My room was clean but clearly dated with chipping paint and scratched floors. My "solo" room was very very small, there is no way 2 people could have used it hence the name. Even with just me, there wasn't room enough to open my carry on suitcase anywhere other than on the bed or the chair next to the desk (but then I had to put my backpack on the floor). So, just be aware that this is a tiny room. The wifi worked really well, and there is a rooftop garden but the view isn't great. If you're not planning on spending much time in the room, and travelling alone, this is fine.

We stayed at the property for business and arrived the day before the most recent incidents happened in Tel Aviv. It has to be said that the hotel staff are amazing, super helpful, always there to help, seek out solutions and they truly have heart for their guests. The property itself is amazing, clean, peaceful, familial and cute. The beds are great, the showers are hot and its just, an amazing experience. You feel like you are part of a family away from home. When the reception comes and shares their meal with you, who still does that? It was GREAT, nothing to say, just positive vibes and we now have a family away from home! FANTASTIC

Beautiful hotel. Great location. The hotel, however, is starting to look tired, especially the rooms. Some staff were a little dry but other staff like Betty were amazingly beautiful, super helpful always wearing a magic smile! Feels more like a homely boutique hotel and a place I'd always stay when visiting Tel Aviv. Hopefully a room refresh and the AC situation which is poor in some rooms are addressed soon.

All of the hotel staff treated us like family. Upon checkin, Eve greeted us with champagne. Jacob helped us book a rental car and translated all of our questions to the rental car company. Daniel wend above and beyond to accommodate our every need. The location is great! It was convenient to everything that we wanted to do. It’s close to lots of restaurants, markets, the beach, and tours pick up close to the hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Loved the service at the Brown TLV Urban Hotel. Arrived around midnight and met by Jacob who was so cheery and delightful despite the late hour. Nice to chat with him. As we checked in, he made us a small origami swan and gave us the last available parking space. The room was small, but so cute. Loved the fresh fruit, water bottles and even the bottle of wine (which we gave away as we were flying back to the US early the next morning). The lobby is so cozy. The rocking chairs and bookshelves filled with books are so inviting. Love the selection of hot tea, coffee and even crisp green apples. Perfect for a quick stay in Tel Aviv.
