We did the Prosecco afternoon tea and it was absolutely beautiful. The food was incredible, plenty of selection they also adapted the sandwiches selection for us as we had a few fussy eaters in the group. The member of staff serving us was so lovely, attentive and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely back. Thank you.

We have just returned from a four day stay. From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted with excellent service. All the staff are amazing and I say all. The room was big, bright and spotless with very comfortable beds. The food is lovely we stayed B and B but did eat in the restaurant on one evening. You can sit on the promenade and look out to sea, the gardener works very hard to keep the cliff garden beautiful. The hotel is in a perfect position for exploring Tenby. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

First time to stay at this wonderful hotel. Room 402 beautiful, spotlessly clean. Bedding and towels whiter than white. Bed very comfortable as were pillows. Even though our room was front of hotel it was lovely and quiet, therefore had undisturbed sleep. Breakfast amazing, quality of food exceptional. Staff so accommodating and friendly. Car park full but able to park opposite hotel free of charge for length of stay. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning

By far the best feature of the hotel is the position on the Esplanade with the most spectacular views of the sea and Caldey Island. The Giltar is a very nice hotel, and was a good base for our coach party, although you do feel a bit like second class guests with set meal times and menus restricted by a strict budget. All the staff, however, were exceptional in their friendly attitude and helpfulness. Our room, 105, was small, but very clean and had a fabulous view (at considerable extra cost). it wasn't particularly comfortable as the bed was just a standard double and there was only room for one chair for the two of us. We had a mini-balcony, but it wasn't usable space, although it was nice to have a patio door to allow air to circulate. The en-suite shower room was fine. All in all, we had a lovely holiday and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is clean and tidy, with decorative choices that both lend to the age of the hotel and keep with modern taste. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food is good, the staff are friendly and the seafront rooms are fantastic. However, our only gripe is the showers. For the price we paid for our room, the shower (though modern and spotless) was really underwhelming. With such a luxury room and the price to match, it would be nice to enjoy a shower with atleast more power than a kitchen tap. This is our only issue with our stay, and unfortunately I doubt anything will change. Although, I probably would search another hotel next time and ask if their showers are powerful. So perhaps it is in Giltars interest to invest in a more powerful shower.

We stayed here for 5 nights and we found the room very good. There was plenty of room and a stunning sea view. The food was excellent and the staff were so good. Nothing was to much for them. The entertainment was very good also. We will be going here again in the future.

A lovely clean hotel with good food and very helpful staff. I went as part of a coach tour and the position of the hotel and standards were excellent even with a large party. The hotel is by the beach and very near to the town with plenty of shops and facilities.

The most beautiful room I have stayed in! This was booked for me as a birthday surprise and I was over the moon with it. We stayed in the room that had the 3 big windows with one opening up onto a balcony. The room was massive and the bed was huge! Had everything you could need and was very clean. The view out into the ocean and onto the beach was breathtaking (especially at sunset). The hotel is walking distance from everything and easy to find, check in. Only issue is the parking as it is quite small and not very well organised. It would be better if the bays were numbered and you were allocated one when you book. We were worried if we moved the car our space would be taken and we wouldn't find another! Overall, a really beautiful place to stay and I highly recommend it.

Had lovely single room all updated clean rooms they had coffee tea in room but wish they had a biscuit go with tea and coffee also wish towels was in bathroom not on beds had shower had to walk in bedroom get a towel 🙈was in room 204 view of car parking in morning went down for a complimentary breakfast. It was lovely only thing was hash browns was soggy lovely choices for breakfast thou staff in restaurant was outstanding service very helpful, polite I love this hotel this best in Tenby facilities so good there great presentation great great job!👏 and thank you for a lovely stay princess pamela may x
