Una sola parola: indimenticabile! Svegliarsi in mezzo al verde, con una colazione ricca di prodotti locali (dall’ottimo pane, ai formaggi alla frutta deliziosa), ha arricchito il nostro soggiorno nella bellissima e verde Terceira. Disponibilissimi a darci indicazioni su dove andare e cosa mangiare, ci hanno fornito anche dei teli mare per fare il bagno. Fare un viaggio a Terceira solo per questa sistemazione, vale tutta!

This is quite the best hotel-adjacent experience the Azores has to offer, and you won't regret trying it. The individual cabins each offer an escape to the trees, and the sights and sounds of the forest are really something to wake up to. There are a few design quirks, most notably the lack of a bathroom door, but if you travel with a partner with sensitive ears there is always time to admire the view from the balcony. Breakfasts are faultless - seriously, you've never seen such a spread - and if you're getting up early to go whale-watching they'll deliver a pre-packed version to your treehouse fridge the night before. The staff know all there is to know about the island, and although you will certainly need a car (not too wide in the chassis, preferably) they can show you where to drive it for the best views. A daily dip in the salt-water pool seals the deal. Book it now before it becomes impossible to get a reservation!

ci siamo andati perché avevamo letto un articolo che parlava di questo teorico eden, le aspettative erano quindi molto alte: dal vivo è ancora meglio! le palafitte sono dure da raggiungere (fa parte del trekking quotidiano di Terceira :-)) ma sono uno spettacolo, sia per come sono fatte, che per il panorama che si gode dal terrazzo con il parapetto fatto di rete: foresta, fiori e l'oceano in fondo, una cosa che non si dimentica. Staff del lodge fantastico, veramente tutti, colazione super sia per varietà che per qualità. Senza dubbio uno delle migliori sistemazioni delle nostre tre settimane alle Azzorre. Merita il viaggio!
