Playa de Camariñas

Outstanding! We stayed two nights while hiking the Camino dos Faros. The rooms were very nice, the staff was wonderfully friendly and welcoming. The location was good, too. But the restaurant, overlooking the water, was amazing. Our second night we thought we'd eat in town, but the restaurants we wanted to try were closed. We went back to the hotel for dinner, and I had the finest meal I've had in years. Absolutely try the warm salad! The sardini rolti was great, and the entrecot of beef was top quality and perfectly cooked. Our server was fun; she gave us food and a Spanish lesson, and we laughed about our efforts to speak each other's language. The staff was kind and thoughtful, helpful in every way. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from downtown along the beach promenade, and they can arrange water sports and other activities for you. If it matters to you, they understand gluten-free and have GF bread.

Are you looking for a place where you can spend a full day? This is it! Make sure you pack your beach bag too! We made a reservation for a 2pm lunch with friends (4 small children included), food was served promptly and was delicious. If you sit out on the terrace, when kids are done eating send them down to the playground ALONE and you can watch them while you remain seated finishing your meal as they play on the playground feet away from you. Playground is located directly on the beach below and within perfect distance of the water so that you do not even need to worry about them reaching the water until the ENTIRE FAMILY is then ready to join them down at the beach. Make sure you pack your beach stuff, we ended up with an impromptu beach day since we did not realize how nice this setup was, luckily we had bathings suits for the kids. Rented some paddle boards at a great price, the water is shallow and calm and crystal clear (it is ocean water but in an alcove so you don't need to worry about waves/strong currents). Spend a full relaxing beach day here you won't regret it. SHOCKED they have not applied to convert this into a blue flag beach...undiscovered paradise!

Abbiamo dormito solo una notte, le nostre camere erano piccole ma essenziali. Purtroppo senza balcone. Bagno anch'esso piccolo ma con tutto quello che serviva, nota stonata l'asse del water rotta e fatta di plastica leggera. Ristorante dell'albergo molto buono con ottima scelta di vini.

Atención estupenda, sitio genial, limpio y muy cómodas las habitaciones. Muy bien atendidos por todas las profesionales que allí trabajan sobre todo Paula, la directora, un encanto. Las comidas, aperitivos y cenas estupendas. Cómo estaban aquellas navajas a la plancha! Volveremos!

Es un sitio encantador. La habitación muy amplia y cómoda. Las toallas magníficas. Y las vistas inmejorables. El trato del personal muy bueno, son muy agradables y serviciales . En el mismo edificio hay un precioso restaurante donde por 7 euros desayunas estupendamente. La carta el día que fuimos no estaba completa porque era el primer día después de las vacaciones, aún así comimos muy bien, sobre todo los mejillones.

Hotel moderno con mucho gusto con vistas al mar limpio y restaurante de lo mejor de la zona por su servicio y calidad de pescados frescos, el entorno del hotel y restaurante son naturales frente a una playa en la entrada del pueblo
