Polaris

We (four people) visited Pension Polaris on 7 February 2024. This was the second time we resided in this place, and last time was in February 2020. Both Ichiro BABA and Ayana were very friendly and provided excellent service to us, including preparation of delicious food in both dinner and breakfast. If you like cats, I strongly recommend that you visit this place because Kuma and Kiki (two cats) are very cute and friendly. The environment of this pension is excellent, and you can see a lot of birds there and sometimes fox also. The location of the pension is also good if you want to see swan in 砂湯 and crane in 釧路. Overall, the experience of visiting place is nice, and I am sure that I will be going there for the third time in the near future.

The rooms were very clean and spacious, with a big window overlooking spacious field. We stayed in a room with 2 adults and 2 kids (2&6 years old) and had enough space to relax. You can observe birds and animals with binoculars equipped in each room. They also showed us the moon and stars using big telescope, a wonderful experience. There were also two nice cats and a library, that entertained our kids very well. They serve carefully prepared homemade food, using local ingredients, which was delicious. The service was also amazing, with careful consideration for our needs. They also provided lots of activities regarding activities around. My 6yo loved the stay there and already asking us to go back. Wonderful hidden gem, totally recommended.

11/6から2泊の滞在でした。 シーズンオフということもあってか他のお客さんはいなくて、ほぼ貸し切り状態(^-^; オーナー夫妻がとてもフレンドリーで、 旅のコンシェルジュもしていただきました(*^^*) 看板ネコ２匹(キキ＆クマちゃん)たちもとても可愛く癒されます～ ネコ好きにはたまらないお宿だとおもいます🐈 朝はダイニングから餌をついばむバードウォッチングができます🐦 お食事もボリューミーで、美味しく楽しめました(^－^) そして、なんと言っても、満点の星空を見ることができました(感動～！)、 旦那さまが撮影のアドバイス＆星空講座をしてくださいました。 ペンションの周りには、広大な牧草が広がり、日の出もみることができます お部屋も窓が大きく、もー、ずっと、ぼーっとして、この景色を見ていたい～ 特に、都会の喧騒に疲れた方にはもってこい！ そんなお宿です。また季節を変えて訪れたい～と思いました。

夏休みに家族で宿泊させて頂きました。オーナーご夫婦と猫のクマくんキキちゃんのおもてなしに癒されながら、豊かな自然と景色、美味しいご飯を満喫しました。 夜はオーナーの引率で星空鑑賞をさせて頂き、写真もプレゼント頂きました。 お部屋も細かいところまで行き届いた清潔感のある作りで大変過ごしやすかったです。 近くの林でシマエナガも見られるようで、次回は是非冬にも訪れたいと思います。 ありがとうございました。

清潔で広々とした客室その窓からの雄大な景色、北海道食材満載のお食事美味しかったです。夜はオーナー様のご案内できらめく星空とふんわりした天の川の下に。星座も教えていただき高性能のカメラでの写真もプレゼントしていただきました。翌朝摩周湖の雲海を見て感動。夜明けの時間が思っていたより早くてオーナー様ご夫婦がいろいろ教えてくださったおかげでベストな時間に到着。北海道の旅を満喫しました。とってもオススメのお宿です!

大自然の中にある、綺麗で落ち着いたペンションです。TVのないのも見識だと思います。お部屋は清潔で、窓からは広く緑の畑と遠くに北海道らしい林が見えます。冬だとキタキツネの足跡が見られるよし、そういう季節にも行ってみたいです。食事も地の素材でボリュームもたっぷりで美味しかった。 曇り空で星は諦めていましたが食事のあとネコちゃんとしばし遊んでいたところ、雲が晴れれてきて真っ暗の中星空観察へ。満天の空の中星座と星の名を教えて戴き、宇宙ステーションまで見られました。雑木林の大好きな我が家族にはポラリスの森散策も楽しかったです。 翌日のお天気や見所、釧路での食事処の案内などいろいろと相談に乗って戴き、資料も準備して下さいました。大いに役立ちました。 なお、車を使わない私たちはJRで摩周駅まで行き、タクシーで2600円くらいでした。
