The Briza Beach Resort, Khao Lak recensioner

We stayed 5 nights here in July during the rainy season. Good: Big rooms, beautiful pool at the hotel wing, nice location, beach access. Service is friendly and accommodating. Fair: breakfast buffet spread is fairly wide, good for the price, they change one or two items everyday. Umbrellas provided because you need it to get between the buildings. Gym is small and equipment is old and some of it is broken, but there's enough space to do floor exercises. Poor: maintenance of some common areas and also the aircon. Inconsistent amenities in rooms We were booked into a deluxe pool view room (2nd floor) which had a moldy smell that we couldn't get rid of. After the 2nd day we asked for a different room and we were upgraded to a pool access room (1st floor), which didn't have a moldy smell. But the hot water didn't work in that room. Also, our original room had a smart Android TV with built-in Netflix and Youtube apps, but the upgraded room did not. Not a huge deal breaker for us as we travel with a HDMI cable but it just seemed strange. Also the pool access room was in the last block (rooms 512 to 524 I think), which abutt the back of the shophouses next to the resort so you can look down into their backyards and hear the people talking even with the door closed). The other buildings don't have this issue as they are not next to any other buildings (for now).

Nice stay. The staff are excellent and really go the extra mile. The breakfast and restaurant staff in particular are fabulous. Housekeeping staff are also lovely. The rooms are being upgraded now and there's a fair bit of renovation work, especially in the beach side of the resort. We stayed in the pool access wing and the pool itself was very big. The beach is stunning, even in low season with driving rain, wind and high waves. It must be incredible here in high season. Worth staying here for such a bargain price.

Nice location. Next to the beach. The room is quite dirty including the bed sheet.

โรงแรมอยู่ติดชายหาด สามารถเดินเล่นได้ ห้องพักดี สะอาด แต่เก่า ตอนที่ไปพักมีบางโซนที่ทางโรงแรมกำลังปรับปรุงใหม่ อาจมีเสียงดังรบกวนในบ้างครั้ง โรงแรมข้างๆก็เช่นกัน อาหารเช้าเป็นแบบบุพเฟ่มีอาหารหลากหลาย

Отель состоит из двух корпусов. Тот что ближе к морю, постарше. Мебель уставшая, темновато в номере. Через дорогу-поновее. Номера с выходом иои видом на бассейн. Все отлично! Очень хорошие завтраки. Море рядом. Несколько бассейнов. Из минусов-в очень немногих номерах лесенки в бассейн. У нас не было. Неудобно вылазить из бассейна, можно подскользнуться. Подушки очень высокие и твёрдые. Я так и не нашла для себя удобную, хотя их четыре. В ванне очень мало геля и шампуня(наливают по запросу по одной маленькой бутылочке). Кондиционера для волос нет. Одно маленькое мыльце.

Удобно расположен , первая линия, в то же время много вокруг всяких кафе, массажек и прочего. Сам отель не плох, номера комфортные для семьи (большая кровать и двух ярусная). При заезде барахлил кондер, чинили прям во время дневного сна, но снаружи. Ресторан отеля очень дорогой, что по еде, что по напиткам. Но на выходе и на пляже полно других мест. Уборка как обычно в Таиланде поверхностная, террасу приходилось просить подмести постоянно. Пляж удобный, лежаки конечно занимают, но в меру. Бассейны хорошие и с них можно вид на закат поймать.
