Ok it's cheap but that's not all. Nothing was working. Small showers in the shower, remotcontrole to AC didn't work. All the electric plugs was so loose so the plugs fell out. The tap in the bathroom was hanging loos. No toilet paper, so soap or shampoo. The staff was very bad in English Now I was invited so I couldn't move out but never this hotel again.

I stayed here for one night on my back through Thakhek on a 30-day self-driving road trip that included both far northern and southern Laos, to Vat Phou. As I mentioned in another recent review, if you move away from the river, hotel prices go down and the quality goes up. At a walk-in rate of 300,000 LAK, I stayed in a "VIP" room in the front building that included breakfast. The room and bathroom were large, comfortable, spacious, and reasonably clean. The air-conditioning, hot water, and Wi-Fi worked well. The bedding, linen, and towels were fine. There is parking behind the building for folks who self-drive.
