Excellent location excellent accomodation very helpful and friendly staff. Food great and plentiful. Staff very attentive. Had a great time. Place is spotlessly clean and gardens well manicured. Fab view from bar and pool. Private beach and free sunbeds and less than 300 mtr to Potos town

This is fair and honest review, my wife, daughter(age20) and myself had a lovely time. After a 31/2 hr flight from Gatwick to Kavala airport, the trip to the hotel was approx another 2hrs, but it was actually pretty enjoyable, lovely ferry ride, great views, pleasant journey. The coach transfer from ferry to hotel is around a hr, but goes quick, with more lovely views. On arrival to the hotel, we was greeted to a lovely smile, £200 hotel tax bill, and £40 for a room safe for the 11 nights. (Be honest everyone has to pay it, but it would have been nice if Tui had advised use of the amount we where going to pay) Our room (3117) balcany/garden view, but got a car park view, and the rooms below where shared swim up apartments. The food was excellent, the staff are excellent, the views was amazing, but the wasps are a nightmare, you will be fighter them off when ever your eating outside, I guess it’s a problem this time of the year. There’s 2 swimming pools, can be busy, but we always got a sun-bed, which was surprising, seeing there was lots of kids. The cost of a pint is just over 5e, which is pretty reasonable I say. The beach is very stoney,?so make sure you buy yourself some beach shoes. The view in the evening of the sunset is amazing, even saw some dolphins. We had a nice time, and love Greece, the Greek people and food, the staff are excellent, would come back, but a probably out of season.

This is our first time in Thassos and what a beautiful island it is, the only let down(s) were arriving to the hotel after a long day traveling and getting to our room to find our aircon was broken as well as the shower head, which meant we had to wait 1 hour for someone to come fix it until we could shower. The room itself is in need of some serious TLC, I would say a premier inn/ hostel has better facilities than this room, with lime green walls, holes in the walls and broken draws. It really put a downer on the holiday as when the rest of the hotel is such a high standard you except all the rooms to be as well. Other than the room being a major let down, the staff are all friendly and welcoming and the rest of the hotel is stunning with amazing food and cocktails. The views and location do not get better than this!

We were allocated this hotel by TUI after the hotel we were due to stay in decided not to open. This hotel was considered an upgrade and the photos online made it look good. We were given a newly furnished room, however, there was no safety deposit box fitted and the mini bar was empty. It took 2 members of staff to check the room for the safety deposit box as they thought we were joking. The extractor fan & cord was inside the shower section and came off the wall when pulled, exposing electric wires. A socket came off the wall when we pulled the inserted plug from it. This was a room that had been recently renovated!! The restaurant was buffet in the evening, they did not cater for vegetarians and provided pasta as an option only. The Maitre d’ asked why we had not emailed in advance to advise them of our stay. Whilst I appreciate if I had a food allergy or other medical condition this may have been a consideration. However, being a vegetarian is a choice, surely a 4 Star hotel could have accommodated. We moved to another hotel the following day after talking to the local rep. It shows the hotel could not accommodate and were cooking on mass.

Checked in today. One of the worst experiences with a hotel in my life. 2 reasons. 1. Maria, the receptionist with her amazing arrogance when faced with simple kind requests. “But I told you the reception number is 9”. One thing is telling, a whole other is your guest understanding when 2 other colleagues were having loud conversations around. I suggest having a crash course in how to make sure your message gets where you want it to get. 2. Our room looks like in the pictures, notice the shower especially. A change request from our side was more than reasonable especially since we didn’t get our original room, but this “upgrade”. However, after talking with the manager, she decided the hotel was fully booked. Terribly disappointing experience. Make sure you do your due diligence before booking here.

First impressions of the Hotel were great in the first 10 minutes then saw the prices of the bar and nearly fainted, luckily you get a fridge in your room so we went to the local supermarket to buy some drinks. Manager was very miserable, rude and unaproachable, bar staff were not very friendly either, Reception staff lovely though, Food in the hotel was very bland and most days cold and you do not get much choice and the chef never smiled either and was rude, so we ended up eating out for 7 nights as i could not stand it in the canteen and my husband was not happy about wearing long trousers as he only took 1 pair, and the canteen was not exactly posh. Pool is too small for the hotel and you have got no chance of getting a bed unless you get up at 7am to put a towel on them so we went to the beach every day which was a lot nicer and quieter. Potos is quite expensive too and very busy so we went to Pefkari which is quieter and more tradional and we were really looked after in the tavernas there which made our holiday.
