Laios Hotel (Adults Only)

I loved this hotel. At the height of the season with the busy beaches and restaurants I returned to this oasis of calm with the huge, quiet and super clean pool and gardens. It's adult only which added to the peaceful atmosphere. My room had a large sunny balcony facing the garden and a side view of the sea and port. It's right at the port and just a two minute walk from the bus station so super convenient. One reviewer thought rooms facing the port a little noisy but I didn't have any problem. You could hear some of the ferries coming in and out but not with the windows closed and they are not very loud anyway. I'd rather have Greek ferries than a lot of noisy people round the pool which you don't find at this lovely hotel. It's family owned and run and very clean. Rooms are cleaned every day and towels and bedding every two days. The air conditioning works well and so does the wifi. I rate it 10 out of 10 and recommend it to anyone who wants peace and nature at a traditional, family owned and run Greek hotel for a reasonable price.
