Blue Horizons Garden Resort

This is the place to stay when visiting Grenada. Very peaceful and relaxing. Even though they were fully booked when we stayed you would never know because it was so peaceful. The pool was never crowded and most days we had the pool to ourselves. The staff is extremely professional and very helpful with everything you need. Have a nice lunch or dinner by the pool, and drinks at the outside bar at night. Bartenders Shakeel and Dennis were the best ! I highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful relaxing vacation without all the noise and kids that a big resort bring.

Beautiful place lush tropical setting with constant wildlife. The gardens are looked after immaculately the house keeping is 1st class . The room we had was spacious well furnished with every thing you could need. The place is spotless . The pool and pool area is clean with the bar restaurant and plenty of space. All the staff were amazing we spoke with them all, they are proud of their work and never to busy to assist or chat. The supermarket is near by 5 mins. Grand Anse beach is 10 mins walk and the BBC beach is a 15/20 min walk up and down a hill. Both beaches are very quiet in May. Food options are various with the umbrella bar good value, La Plywood great for lunch these were our favourites we also ate at Savvy’s bar which had a great band on Friday night with a bonfire and very good food.

Blue Horizons is a great location within walking distance of Grand Anse Beach, a small mall, and many restaurants and places to grab a drink. The restaurant on site actually had the best drinks we experienced in Grenada, while the food was also pretty good, and a perfect variety especially at dinner time. The view from the breakfast area is unmatched, as was the view from our room. The higher you go, the better the view, although you will need to do some stairs. The grounds are finely manicured but also very natural. The room was spacious and had a full kitchen along with a full bathroom, including a tub. The air conditioning was a bit loud but we were just thankful to have it. Lastly, the pool was lovely, although it would be nice to hear more Caribbean music. We would stay here again as it has everything we need, and at a price we could afford.

Blue Horizons Garden Resort was excellent in every way! The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are well appointed and well spaced. We often felt like we were in our own private resort. We stayed in an ocean view room which was very comfortable and we watched the ships come into St. George's from our balcony with our coffee every morning. We travelled with family who stayed in the garden view suites which were also lovely. They were even larger than ours, and had lovely big terraces surrounded by palm trees. It was a very quick - 5 minute - walk to beautiful Grand Anse Beach, and also a quick walk to the supermarket to stock up on supplies. The pool area was lovely - the pool clean and refreshing. Best of all were the staff - everyone was so friendly. We loved the fancy, creative drinks that our bartender mixed for us. The restaurant by the pool was quiet and intimate, with soft lighting and music. The food was fantastic! We would highly recommend Blue Horizons and hope we get the chance to return some day!

Lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens a short walk from a world class beach. Walk to Savvy Beach Bar and along the beach towards the unfinished hotel, you will find a calmer part of Grand Anse beach. Plenty of shade under trees and easy access into the fantastic sea. The service at the hotel is excellent. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and quiet, with good cooking facilities. Also, the restaurants on site provide a good range of inviting choices (try the roti and also the blackened spicy fish) at a reasonable price for Grenada. However, there are lots of other places to eat nearby too. There is a good supermarket within easy walking. Special thanks to Monica, Tevin, Shakiel and all the staff at the pool bar. In fact all the staff are a credit to the owner, Arnold. We very much appreciated being greeted by the hotel owner on arrival and our informative chats with him over our 10 day holiday. Like many of the other guests, we will certainly be returning to beautiful Grenada and the Blue Horizon Garden Resort!

We enjoyed our stay (Room 24) very much, unit had plenty of space, we liked that the resort was quiet and the beautiful gardens. Location was perfect, short walk to main beach and a bit longer walk to BBC beach which is very quiet and the water a bit calmer. Some things however should be noted if you choose to stay here - If you have mobility issues please ensure you ask for a lower ground unit. We were at the top and up several flights of steps. The pool area is nice however the beds were filthy on more than one occasion. They need washing more frequently. Also please remember to have a shower BEFORE entering the pool, it seemed to be the norm to just get in, covered in sweat and suntan lotion which is gross. The seating on the balcony was so uncomfortable, these need to be upgraded to loungers. We liked to sit outside and enjoy the sea view but couldn't do this for long due to how uncomfortable the seats were. The food and drinks prices we felt were a little high. There are many places to eat nearby offering much better value. I appreciate prices are always more in hotels but they still seemed excessive. Our unit, although comfortable was a bit tired and the walls were dirty in places, it needs a lick of paint. Whilst most staff members were friendly we didn't find one of the reception team particularly helpful, in fact we gave up asking her anything. When we checked in she told us it's 'not possible to swim before 11am' with no explanation. This was actually not true as the pool is open before that. Perhaps she is new to the role. Would we stay here again? Yes, with a few tweaks this would be a 5 star place to stay on the beautiful island of Grenada.
