I was highly disappointed during my stay. I will say the front desk was friendly and helpful during my stay. However, the room felt dirty and the second I walked in it smelled like someone used an entire can of air freshener to cover up cigarette smoke (the property IS smoke free). The smell was so bad that after I left and unpacked my things STILL reeked of the room’s smell. The AC was so loud every time it turned on that I got about two hours of actual sleep during my stay as it sounded like a plane was taking off in my room. For how much a room costs I would look elsewhere. I only stayed as my typical hotel was booked up, but I will not stay here again.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel. It’s clean and staff are very friendly. If you’re heading to a show at the Cynthia Woods Pavilion it’s about a 12/13 minute walk so very convenient! We will definitely stay here again in the future

Well kept hotel in a terrific location. Our suite was big and comfortable. A big thank you to Lee Lawson, a supervisor at the hotel who I observed to be helpful and very friendly, even while working over Christmas. Marriott could use more staff like him. I am perplexed by some of the reviews and question whether there might be a mix up with another Residence Inn within a mile in location. Having stayed in both hotels, it seems this is the nicer and updated of the two. But our stay in the other Residence Inn was several years ago. I highly recommend the Residence Inn Market Street.

Old hotel with the most uncomfortable furniture. Horrible bed. Very dated. Asked them to clean the room and they refused stating Marriott corp policy for stays less that 2 nights. Stay away. Breakfast was ok but there are better choices in the woodlands

This hotel is in a really good location if you're going to a concert at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in the Woodlands (like we were) - it is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel to the concert venue. It is also conveniently located for shopping, with lots of shops and restaurants in close proximity. We did not experience any of the extra amenities at this hotel such as breakfast, the pool, or the gym, but we were very happy with our room. It was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. I must not have paid close attention to the room type I booked but we were very pleasantly surprised to find our own mini apartment with the living room/kitchen in a separate room from the bedroom. We were on the second floor and looked out onto a little fire pit area. We didn't get a chance to hang out down there but it looked really cute. On the downside, I felt the rooms were quite dark and could use more light - particularly in the kitchen/living room. There was only one dim overhead light in the kitchen and otherwise, the entire space was lit by lamps. It would drive me nuts if I were staying for multiple nights and was trying to work. I was also surprised that parking was $10 per night, as I typically associate parking fees with secure parking facilities rather than free-entry parking lots for hotels in the suburbs. Lastly, the elevator was excessively slow. It was easier and quicker to carry our suitcases down the stairs than to wait for the elevator. Overall, minor quibbles. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the Woodlands for a concert.
