Clean room, comfy bed.
Interesting old property.
Bar doesn't open in the week so quite and would have to go out for food, but plenty of choice nearby, walking distance.
Shower was nice and warm.
Facilities were good, tea and coffee, complimentary soap, supplied towels.

My wife and I attended a fantastic event this weekend at the hotel’s event venue, which was a fantastic evening and we also stayed at the hotel for the night. Fantastic staff, brilliant facilities and an overall wonderful experience which I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for either a venue or a quiet break away.

My husband and I stayed in one of the new rooms as we attended the Thetford Business Awards. The room was clean and comfortable, complete with air con. Downstairs was very nicely decorated and the food and atmosphere were great. The hosts were fab too.

Just spent a lovely couple of hours having Sunday lunch here. An abundance of food, beautifully presented. Very good value. Most importantly chef Rosy took great care to ensure the specific needs of my child were accommodated. There was no stress, no need to explain, she managed it all. Allowing my wife and I to have a thoroughly relaxed meal.

The staff at this place were all super friendly and helpful. They offered great customer service. The room was nice enough if a little dated, could do with freshening up. However the price of the room was expensive and not value for money, especially as breakfast was not included!

Visited here recently for afternoon tea and it was such a wonderful experience. The hotel is a lovely building steeped in history. The food and service was incredible. The owners and the staff made us feel very welcome and Michelle was an amazing host. The cakes were to die for! Thank you xxx

Me and my Friend had a great experience at Thomas Paine Hotel. We had the best afternoon tea and were looked after professionally and kindly. Staff was attentive and the chefs food was fresh and delicious 😋 Will be back soon. Thank you for a great afternoon x

Gez was great and when we speed him to make a custom meal that we had in Egypt he planned a specific Egyptian night to prepare the food. He is always willing to make custom meals and does a great job. I highly recommend this restaurant as it has great service!
