Receptionist very rude and unhelpful.Was made feel that I was lying about the room not being clean and prepared, bed unmade room not clean. Although we have made more reservations at other Premier Inns, I m not sure about honouring them. A very poor experience.

Lovely hotel perfect for an overnight stay before centre parcs Elveden. The hotel is clean, staff in the restaurant are friendly, breakfast was great with lots of choice, evening meals were good value for money especially in the £26 deal they run. Lots of car parking spaces you just need to register your vehicle on arrival. The only thing we were really dissatisfied that the milk in the room had gone off so split when put in my tea. My daughter then went and grabbed some more off reception and they split too! In the end I went in the restaurant and asked for a glass of milk as there was no one on reception

I visited for a nearby family event. I said that I hand;t booked breakfast and asked if I decided I wanted to have it, could I order and pay on the day. I got the longest spiel about it being school holidays and race weekend. Why not just say no? There was a mix up with my booking. I had booked 3 nights but booking only showed for 2. (I'm still trying to find out what happened.) The same receptionist phoned mesaying 'My housekeeper tells me your stuff is still all over the room.' Nothing about whether I was expecting to stay another night. I had to leave the family event and go in person, book the extra room onb my phone in front of her. She then insisted that I had eaten breakfast that day, when I hadn't. She grudgingly said she would see what she could do to credit it to the following morning. I rarely leave poor reviews, but this woman should not be working in that role and I will not visit the hotel again.

the most expensive ‘budget I’ve stayed in, in a long time and can’t help but feel that the high cost of the basic room is to cover the money involved in fitting out of the new plus rooms! However staff were lovely and the Warrener’s food delicious. But next time for this price, I think it’s The Bell for me. Ps Stayed at Portsmouth in a Premier Plus’ room for a £100 less!

Stay here often and it’s always very lovely. Staff are great, warm and welcoming. The restaurant and bar are also lovely. Facilities are great too. Have only ever eaten in the restaurant in the morning and gone before brekkie so cannot comment on that. Comfy bed and pillows. I always sleep very well here.

First room was leaking from ceiling, second room was a down grade no refund ? No wifi after being downgraded from a premium room. The staff on reception daytime were unprofessional and the new female was straight out of Compton so unprofessional, rude unhelpful , even both female receptionists swore referring to maintenance in front of customers at reception . The night female receptionist was much better and tried to help. I could not get a key for my room for the full two nights stay everytime I entered hotel receptionist from daytime had to let me in up until 8pm . I was up and down the stairs having been Locked out my room and the staff were really put out making me feel like I was the burden ! Never again will I stay at this hotel and if the new receptionist was in my company she would be sacked.
