The hotel is a one-stop shop that can help organize your entire visit to Bhutan: from obtaining visa to securing flights in and out of Bhutan to all local transport and guide arrangements. The hotel itself shows that a great deal of thought and attention have gone into the design and operations of this hotel: warm welcome, genuine hospitality, nicely decorated rooms, luxurious towels! The dining experience is also excellent: offers both Bhutanese, Asian, and Western options. The pastry is probably the best in Bhutan. We enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing stay, and appreciated all the local travel arrangements made by the hotel.

As soon as we enter the Aura is so Positive. Can feel flowing through the staff. They were very warm and welcoming. No wonder the standards are above 4star hotel category should be rated 5 star. It's truly a Gem of Bhutan tourism. The food is also very good.

The Pema by Realm is a very clean and neat boutique hotel in Thimpu. Staff are very friendly and food offered is fantastic. Restaurant/coffee shop deco is nice and sleek. Love the cookies and gifts the hotel prepared for guests. The neighborhood is very quiet.

We stayed at The Pema for our first 2 nights in Thimphu. And I must say it was the best hotel stay throughout our trip in Bhutan. Very nice welcome/greeting. Staff was very attentive and accommodating, even offered to open the Spa in the middle of the night when hot water delayed in our room. Very clean and nice views. The dinner from the Bistro and morning breakfast buffet were superb. Food taste and presentation are up to par to NYC restaurants’. The honey gift was clutch for my sore throat!

What I loved the most about this place was the amazing team! Always there for you and always smiling! It felt like home away from home! Thanks a million to the beautiful Bhutanese people that make you forget about all the worries in life. I can't wait to be back! Have a wonderful summer and keep smiling! :))

For me The Pema By Realm is a true home from home. I visit every year. The team is more than just staff working somewhere in the background. They are genuinely interested in who you are, what you think of their service and, more importantly, their stunning country. The more you engage, the more you will enjoy your stay. Lean in and you will get to know so much more about the culture than you could ever have imagined. Nothing pleases the team more than having guests who want to learn more about their culture and way of doing things. I love my cappuccino a certain way ... I explained how, and every morning, I got my 'tailor-made' kick-starter served perfectly - no long faces, only smiles and laughter. The Bistro seems to attract an amazing cross-section of fascinating Bhutanese. Some grab the most exquisite pastries, some pick up the most fantastical celebration cakes, while others simply huddle together for a cosy chat. Whether at the end of a busy working day or a sightseeing day, the upstairs roof bar is a great place to end your day and contemplate 'the meaning of life'. Cheers or Tashi Dalek

Pema by Realm was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip in Bhutan. Their staff were extremely polite and helpful. A Special mention to manager Hem who helped us with a room issue. The bed was very comfortable, and the views around the hotel were excellent. There are shops nearby as well.

Staying at the Pema was one of the highlights of our trip. The property, room, service, and food were all excellent. We felt the warm welcome from everyone on staff-particularly the owners Gyalshen and Pema. They absolutely spoiled us. Upon entering the room, I was greeted by welcome treats of cookies and various souvenirs from Bhutan. The room was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and had water/tea/coffee should I need them. The view was beautiful. The hotel restaurant was very nice as well. There was a wide range of offering-different cuisines (from Italian to Thai). A special shout out to chef who prepared a special welcome meal of Thali for us and a special last evening meal of Thai dishes. The desserts are not to be missed!
