Aphrodite Beachfront Hotel

Been coming to the lovely family run/owned Aphrodite Hotel for over 30 years mostly 2 visits each year, lot of people who stay there are regulars. Some changers for 2025 no charge for save in room no charge for fridge in room, New also for 2025 buffet breakfast which includes Cerral,Toast, Cheese, Ham Greek, Yogurt, Honey . Tomatoes, Cucumber,. The Aphrodite Hotel has a lovely pool and do lovely snacks especially fruit salad, the bar area also does lovely snacks and serves a lovely cool Mythos whish is the best in Roda, there is also part of the hotel the Yacht Club restaurant and bar. Also run from the Aphrodite Hotel is Skyway Boats run by the owner sun Panos and his business partner Noufris for boat tours and rentals highly recommended. There is a regular bus service right outside the hotel to Kassiopi /Sidari and Corfu Town, there is also in Roda several car hire and travel shops in Roda The hotel staff is very friendly and will do there best to make your holiday perfect and relaxing the reception is run 24 hours during the day by Yannis and Joanna and Leon on nights. The hotel has a lift to first and second floor; walk out the hotel strait into the beach writer is already booked for September 2025 and May 2026. We first visited this hotel in October 2024 and had a sea view room which was lovely. I have mobility issues ( assisted travel provided) and was frightened by the slippy shower in the bathroom. Other than that, we were impressed by the cleanliness, the friendliness and generally the lovely atmosphere of the hotel. we decided that we enjoyed the holiday so much we’d come again. I was advised by a member of the reception staff that if we came again I had to specifically ask for one of three rooms, numbers given, that would satisfy our sea view request and also for my safety, a non slip walk in shower. All that was done by our travel agent who apparently emailed the hotel. On our arrival in May 2025 we found we did not have a sea room. Reception staff did what they could but a sea view room with walk in shower was not available. This did not really spoil the holiday but took the pleasure off our arrival .We were welcomed back by the staff as long lost friends, we met up with returning friends. All staff were as friendly and helpful as before. It was a joy to have the new continental breakfast with the teas and coffees and lemon delivered by Spiros and Vasillos; the double act that entertained us with humour yet efficiency every morning. We look forward to seeing them again. The Yacht club provided us with lovely evening meals . I understand some of this was cooked by “boss man”. It was delicious. His cousin also served in the restaurant, he also was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Sorry, I’ve forgotten their names. I hope it isn’t too long before we return to see our great holiday venue again.

The management have obviously listened to past reviews as the breakfast selection was excellent. The continental breakfast was well presented including fresh greek yoghurt with honey cheeses boiled eggs and ham tomatoes toast and cake. The hotel location is superb with friendly staff, a fridge and a safe included. Rooms were big enough and the view from the balcony watching the sunrise was stunning. This is my first visit and l really can't fault anything and would totally recommend this hotel and would love to return
