I happened to visit this restaurant today morning.. I didnt stay there but had my breakfast. The waiters were good. They offered me a seat and provided the food in reasonable time. Food was good.. Price also seemed ok to me. As usual I was ready with my google pay app to make the payment. The elderly *** told me that only card and cash is acceptable.. I said OK.. I gave the only Rs.500 Note I had and he picked it and put in the cash drawer. Before giving balance to me he started receiving payment through card for another customer. After that I asked for my balance.. He suddenly started blasting at me.. "Give the money.Dont play tactics with me".. I was taken aback for a second. Then I told him that I have given the money, please check your drawer. He was not ready to check. Fortunately the customer who was paying by card vouched for me that I have given the cash. I asked him to check CCTV if he has any doubt. Then he gave me back my money. I can understand these kind of things can happen. He is an elderly *** and I respect that memory isses can happen. But what caused me agony is the way he talked and he didn't even bother to say a sorry for me... Service is not only about the quality of product..But it is the way you keep the relationships with your customer. I have nothing bad to say.. But this instance I would like to bring to the attention of the management which I could not do then as I was busy in rushing to my next business appointment. Please sensitise your cashier.. I hope he is an employee.. An employer of a well maintained hotel with so much legacy cannot be like this..All else seems good.. Please fix this one also. It is too painful to be questioned about dignity and integrity after paying for the services provided.

The location was in the main market so it was great. The food was delicious. The amenities were good too. And the services were excellent. Overall it was a great stay.

Nice and comfortable stay in a hotel. The location was good near the railway station. Staff are good and supportive. Good restaurant on the ground and 1st floor.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained, but the toilet seats may need replacement, and the washrooms could benefit from better ventilation, more lighting, and improved room lighting. The hotel's restaurant serves good food, but the prices might seem a bit high. Despite being an older hotel, ariya nivas's proximity to the railway station and temples like padmanabhaswamy and pazhavangadi is a significant advantage. The easy accessibility to auto-rickshaws further enhances its convenience. Overall, it's a suitable choice for a short stay in trivandrum, especially for travelers seeking a budget-friendly option with easy access to key attractions.

The hotel staff's behaviour is not friendly. They did not come to receive and take our lugguage to rooms. Very poor service.
